Now it's finally time to give Tsufurujin his due screentime and to explain why him and the Yadorat were in Universe 2 team.

After that, Universe 2 can go. It won't be missed at all.

This wasn't a bad episode, but it's really annoying seeing the strongest warrior from a universe losing to Android 18.

I don't think that's problematic at all. Until a few years ago, Frieza was on the top of the mortal food chain in Universe 7 (until the Frieza Saga). Android 18 is far stronger than Namek Saga Frieza. So there is no reason to think, she couldn't be stronger than the strongest mortal being of another universe. Also, I'm pretty sure, that was her finale. Dragon Ball Super is not very subtle, and showing that her leg needed care and still troubled her after that, is probably a not-so-subtle hit, that she is getting physically strained by the fight, even though her stamina is endless.

[spoiler]Thank god, Ribrianne is gone. I don't hate her for her character or her design. I hate the way she was utilized without anything coming out of anything she does. Her final form was a good joke. That Magical Girl theme and that obvious "Level 1 Saga, giant villain"-design, was pretty funny.[/spoiler]

Sure there is no in-universe reason for why 18 can't be stronger than a universe's strongest, but it's a really poor choice from a writing standpoint. How are we supposed to feel any tension in this tournament when the strongest fighter from a universe that's lasted this long can't even beat 18? There's only 5 people in this tournament that actually feel like a threat to U7, which are Hit, Kefla, Dyspo, Toppo, and Jiren, and even then one of those 5 is just a combination of two characters. If Jiren weren't here, U7 would win this tournament easily.

I Give my Respects to 17 and 18 for having a good match, they come across good tonight.

I am highly disappointed in Toei however that was the Best they can do for My Girl Ribrianne, I now fear for U3 and U4 if they will be anything special.

The Transformation was not creative and was lazy, was a cop-out IMO and the power-ups seem just lame on both sides.

Again I am a fair guy, who wins is who wins, I will always like U2 and Ribiranne and the Girls, but honestly that was disappointing storytelling to be. My worry what may come from the other universes now.

P.S. To those that Dislike Ribrianne and the Girls Please show some honor cause she has fans like us.

It's pretty clear that U6, U7, and U11 are the only universes that the writers care about. The other universes are just hype tools for U7, unfortunately. I'm indifferent to Ribrianne's character, but I don't think that she deserved the treatment that she got in this episode.

Wasn't she on par with Base Goku ? judging by what we saw 18 do over 20 years she's done NOTHING to even be comparable to imperfect Cell.

That's a theory that's been going around the fandom for the last few weeks. It's plausible, but them forming a truce is unlikely.

One of those guys telling Piccolo that he will get a chance to visit universe six Namek if he spares them after they are defeated and are about to be eliminated is possible, but Piccolo never had a real connection to his people, otherwise he would have joined them back when they went to new Namek long ago.

Frankly? Yeah. I thought Vegeta would catch just one of his punches without looking. Seeing how Goku reacted to Yakkon without looking several years beforehand, and seeing how Vegeta reacted to Ribrienne that time on instinct alone. But they didn't even give him that. There was no point to that scene beyond hammering it home that Vegeta sucks and Goku is so much better.

Vegeta failed to go Ultra Instinct. Instead he went Ultra Insult...

Thanks ad in the end I am going to be the Bigger fan and give my congrats to 17 and 18 for having a good showing and for fans of them if they enjoyed good for them.

However I said before that if Toei Copped-Out on making the other Universe Good the series could break for me and now I fear that is the case going forward.

I am hoping down the line U2 is a thing still and they get good development, but I worry Toei is not series about that. This feels like a Game of just taking down the next big boss and rule of cool style, the power scaling was all over the place in this episode and it had been since 108.

I will always like the Girls and U2 and Brianne the most, still like her now, but Toei let me down Hard in both Plot and storytelling tonight. The Transformation was a cut and paste and now I fear now for U3 and U4 will be treated the same-way.

Again from a Brianne fan all I ask is respect to her and her Fans.

But with Kami inside of him, I'm sure he would be interested in visiting U6 Planet Namek.

Most of the directors of Toei, writers, should be canned if Piccolo will be a meatshield for Gohan again in order to trigger the powerup Gohan mentioned in the recruitment Arc.

Sadly I think this has been the problem with 108, the power scaling is all over the place and no-one can get a fix on it. I feel toei is not just rule of cool now a days it seems.
