I've seen so little of the actual YGO and so much of YGO Abridged that I automatically jump to Little Kuriboh's version whenever I see something YGO-related. XD

Song of Hope will be played on the radio...in fact I think it played yesterday from the looks of things.

*Wants to hear that song so bad*. @_@
I'm way more curious about "Song of Hope" than I was the cover of "Head-Cha-La". I hope it appears online somewhere soon.
There hasn't been a single word on the 2ch thread about it playing on the radio; I don't think they knew it was going to air either.
Twitter knew it was coming apparently though:

Feedback looks positive.
EDIT: 2ch's FLOW thread:

Also positive feedback, but still no audio clips. T_T

Thanks!
Well, that sounded .....fun
I don't understand the lyrics but the beat really gives it a Dragonball - like feeling.

Wow, that's a pretty fun song indeed. I like it a lot. It'll be fun to see if it plays during the movie, and if so, during which scene, or perhaps at the very end?

I like FLOW, and I like CHA-LA-HEAD-CHA-LA! The result of putting the two together is so awesome!

This song. My mp3 player. *_*
It's amazingly cool; I really like this one.
Easily my favorite of their two BOG songs. Thank you so much for linking!

Hm, not bad; not bad at all.
Can't wait to see it's used in the movie. So, any interesting lyrics?

out of curiosity, is this the same band that did the song ''Orange star heroes'' in the Jump Special? it's been a while since i heard it.

The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128
Still recording Toonami broadcasts on VHS after all these years!

No, that would be Jealkb.

Jealkb never did release the full version of "Orange Hero", still kinda sad that never happened, as I like that song too.
Someone in the 2ch thread tried to transcribe the lyrics, but mentions it's not 100% because he or she couldn't pick out the words in some areas of the song.
I don't feel comfortable copy-pasting if 2ch's not sure they transcribed correctly, so I'll just wait for someone here at Kanzenshuu to transcribe it instead.

Eh, both FLOW's version of "Cha-La Head Cha-La" and the insert song are kind of middling. There's not that much power in the songs. They're kind of flimsy and overly tech-y without any real vocal presence. "Dragon Soul" from Kai was better than these. I hope the BGM is better.

But he's also a fighter, through and through [...] he fight until he has, in no uncertain terms, beaten his enemy on terms they can both acknowledge. He doesn't want to kill anyone, or even prove that he can win... he just wants to know he can. He's an ineffably charming bastard who's manly leanings were really incendental, and yes, the fact that he was voiced by a squeaky woman made the combination perhaps all the more charming.

So Uisu and Table's voice actor was just released from the hospital after a bout of anaphylactic shock.

After reading up on this and how out-of-nowhere those susceptible can catch it, it sounds horrifying. I'm glad he's going to be alright.

I'll be honest, the insert wasn't that great.
That time your teacher asked you to draw Cell in biology class.
This man is my hero:
To be perfectly honest, I couldn't care less about the fans a re-issue might alienate because if all they're concerned about is being able to scalp the people who were either unaware of the Dragon Boxes or couldn't afford them at the time, they're just leeches and deserve to have their greed backfire on them.

I have to agree. It really feels underwhelming.
