It's not about whether it will grow back, but if there exists something capable enough to separate Gohan and his bang..
Maybe just like the nameless namekian,if Gohan expels all good from his soul,that will manifest as a hair bang separate from Gohan.
Thats assuming they are not separate entities already or if the real Gohan is the hair bang with the rest of the body being an empty vessel.
