Hirudegarn's reaction is his roar. Not sure about the others, could be the same.

Ginyu's he flips over for a guard break so his isn't

So has anyone dabbled in the competitive online multiplayer mode? I was wondering how the balance issues are considering everyone will be outfitting their characters with the best swag they've got at all time. I'm assuming that your weight increases the more you pile on?

Seriously, you need help.

If you like the game, so what? Will other people judge you? It's your money so you do whatever you want with him.

I got my PS3 copy in the post today with the Vegetto and SSJ Bardock DLC...Totally worth if :D Vegetto is awesome.

I wish I'd it it sooner though because I missed out on getting that +100 attack card :(

EDIT

Also a nice guy on GameFAQs has compiled a list of most if not all the special requirements for missions

Seriously, dude. Are you attention-seeking or something?

It gets really tiring reading this sort of thing from you all the time.

Who cares? It's the internet. (Nearly) Anything goes.

Anyway, from what I've seen, this game looks quite fun. I don't know how long I could spend playing it before it gets old, though.

Battle of Z dropped out of the UK top 40 though.
Didn't the initial marketing for this game start in the UK? That's pretty funny.

Second week BoZ sales in Japan:

[PS3] Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z - 7.910 / 38.102

Famitsu's numbers:

[PS3] Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z - 8.435 / 40.534
[PSV] Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z - 5.752 / 26.813

Bandai Namco also released their third quarter results today, but I'll leave that up to Mike.
"I like the money it brings in, but Dragon Ball Heroes is the worst. That's actually the real reason I decided to start working on new material. I was afraid Bandai would make something irredeemably stupid like Super Saiyan 4 Broly." - Akira Toriyama, made up interview, 2013.

IGN has released their review and the overall score is a 6.6/10.
Pros:
+ Lots of characters
+ Gorgeous settings and models
+ Fun co-op

Cons:
- Shallow combat
– Unbalanced competitive modes
Link: http://uk.ign.com/articles/2014/02/05/d ... e=facebook

Can't say they're wrong because it's true but.. this game is for everyone not just the hardcore fans, not to mention that there's plenty of fans that hate this game.

Sounds reasonable enough to me. A shame online competitive mode is apparently broken. I haven't tried it myself yet but can anyone confirm if this is the case?

6/10 is not bad. I still plan to get the game, but not at full price. I hope we do get a sequel with a better written story mode. I'm watching the story mode on Youtube and the story mode feels very weak. It reminds me how the story mode in BT1/Sparking was where the whole story mode felt rush and lazy.

I've been dabbling on Xbox Live with friends, we've been in a few competitions and balancing isn't really an issue... I mean yeah there is some strong competition and we get hit hard but some people run lobbies where cards aren't used. My only real problem is that the netcode is still very unstable and we encounter a lot of synchronization problems, I wanted to believe it was just my connection but my friends are experiencing the same issues...

Retries are based on character from what I've noticed and it's not affected by cards

Each character on your team adds to your retry pool. They have 0-2 retries. In general, it's roughly tied in to their in-game power levels, but not all low level characters are worth 2, and not all high level characters are worth 0 retries. There are a few odd ones, like Majin Vegeta being worth a retry while Super Saiyan Vegeta doesn't get one. While we're on this subject, use characters that provide more retries if you're struggling to get an S ranking. You seem to get more points for each retry you have left in stock.

I do find that very interesting, I purposely play a support type when I feel like watching... it's good practice if you're using one of those characters who dash to revive fallen allies

I hadn't gone back to my xbox to verify that yet (damn my father and his call of duty obsession), but I was about to say that I didn't remember SSJ2 Vegeta having a retry...

This has probably been mentioned before but does anyone else think that Super Saiyan God Goku looks a bit scrawny compared to base Goku?

Super Saiyan God Goku is supposed to be noticeably skinnier than any of the other forms, including base. Just like in the film.

Alright, then I have no complaints... I had not seen BoG yet. I thought this was just another one of those instances where models were off
