I may have to scan through the manga to check, but other than being Buu's reincarnation, is it actually stated that Uub's power when fighting Goku was the same as kid Buu from 10 years ago?

I don't think so, all I remember is Goku saying he dosen't know how to use his power but is learning how to as he fights, which leads me to believe he wasn't at kid buu level..
Goku was blocking his attacks at base when god ki enhanced base wasn't a thing too..

Eh, if anything that just helps Uub's power all the more. There's no law stating he had to be kid Buu level, all we know is he was strong enough to impress Goku, that's good enough for the story with Super material included.

Yeah. It feels like Toei had this whole plot point set up where Toppo would hound Goku for the remainder of the tournament but then abandoned it.

I never really got that feeling. All Toppo facing Goku meant to me, both in the anime and the manga, was the typical "ohhh he's strong but he's saying there's a teammate much stronger!" that is supposed to be scary.
He was destined to be 2nd fiddle, and Goku doesn't care about those. Why would he bother with Toppo after he found Jiren? Toppo would be stupid to keep his "Goku = evil" routine after everyone accepted Goku wasn't an universe-killer, too. And that shouldn't be the #1 priority for a guy who preaches about being a hero of justice, anyway.

I don't even get who Toppo is supposed to fight. At first it was Goku, then it was Vegeta, now it might be Freeza or Gohan.

He seems like Dr. Eggman in that he has no idea what he's doing.

So it looks like the last episode of the year will be Toshio's? Looking at the calendar, that should be 122 on Dec 30/31, or 121 on the 25th/26th if they take that week off for New Year's.

24th December it should be as there will be a break for the new year.

It could be that Vegeta episode he wrote as it would be over 3 and half months since he finished writing it.

Well yeah, but usually Toriyama stuff connects to each other by nature so I won't be surprised if hit taken out early connects to something else later.. like this..

Okay to your first point...we know Jiren is heroic in some ways but being part of a group doesn't define you. It's like saying all cops are good people, simply not true.

Secondly I agree he won't kill Jiren but the guy did mention that the rules change in this scenario.

I doubt they'd allow killing because the winning team would basically be stuck using their wish to revive any teammates they lost, defeating the purpose of offering the wish in the first place. There's no reason to forbid it in the first place if you're just going to allow it later. Creates the same problem at either point in time.

Goku's not the sort of person to kill a worthy opponent if he can avoid it. He's tried to spare Frieza's stupid ass multiple times. Plus what's to say this Jiren wouldn't just atomize Goku and his friends and be done with them? He didn't look all that bothered the two times it looked like Goku had been killed by the Spirit Bomb.

Gohan hasn't done anything of note in the T.o.P and people still don't want him to get some eliminations, whatt?
His best feats were beating and struggled for like 2 minutes before eliminating Obuni.
He really can't go further without 'stealing the spotlight' from Piccolo, and there's people saying his role is fan service, wow
IDK about you guys, but as a fan of Gohan, I'm pretty disappointed, he couldn't even deal with I.T
