Krillin's girlfriend took all of HIS money when she left, because she was an undercover agent investigating him for tax fraud.

Yamcha's girlfriend took all of HER money when she left, because she's a rich businesswoman and scientist, while Yamcha is a broke, unemployed loser who still survives by mooching.
Yeah but in the end they both ended up with no girlfriends and no money.

That's not the point, though.

Kuririn had his own money before it all went down. Yamcha, on the other hand, was broke before and after he got with Bulma. Which is more pathetic?

Gonna have to go with Krillin. Girl takes her money, bummer. Girl takes YOUR money? Suicide.

It probably hurts more to have someone take your money, but actually having money rather than mooch off someone else is far more respectable. Especially when Yamcha is still mooching off her.

Krillin's was more painful, maybe. But it's more respectable.

I thought Yamcha was a Baseball Player :| . Whatever happened to that? I remember he bought a fancy car with all his baseball Money but.....well, Crusher Corps :? . But you'd think he would've stuck with it.

Probably would have if the Saiyans weren't coming. Then again, we'd be left with one less butt monkey. Then again considering that little cat song he did for money...

<.<

Cat loves food yeah yeah yeah.

Not to diss my man Kuririn, but at least in-so-far as Abridged goes, that money was ill-gotten by taking a life insurance policy out on himself, wasn't it? I'm not really sure I'd call that 'respectable'. :P

It was smart, at the very least.

Oh it was smart for sure, and crafty as hell of him for thinking of it - it's something I could easily see Kuririn (especially in his younger days) coming up with. I just meant I'm not really sure we can call that an honest cash gain.

Probably would have gotten less grief (especially with the fake girlfriend part) if he just used the Dragonballs. I mean he DID use them for a Christmas tree. lol

At this point? One could very easily make the case that Kuririn earned it. It's not like he hadn't done plenty in service of helping the planet up 'til that point.

From a moral point of view, an argument could be made in his favor, I believe. From a LEGAL point of view... not so much.

Hmm...guess I didn't think of it like that. When you look at it that way, they pretty much all deserve tons of cash. Legality wise though, the poor guy definitely had it coming.

...Well...sort of. It's been a while since I watched that episode so I forget how it all went down, but technically speaking, he did die and therefore the money would have had to be paid...the law clearly wouldn't have caught up to revival via Dragon Balls. :P But since he put it as payable to a false name that he himself then took on, I guess that'd still be fraud no matter what...hmm.

And this is why Dragon Ball and law should never mix, heh.

Edit: I say that and only afterwards do I realize that I'm saying this while having a cop Kuririn avatar...so clearly his fraud case has long been forgotten by that point.

Well... He did actually die if we want to get technical. They just didn't believe he died because he was now alive.

That's a nice loophole, but I'd say that the real problem is the fact that he took the money using a fake identity.

Part of me hopes for a GT abridged.

Part of me knows that isn't likely.

I feel like TeamFourStar are the type of people to do it as a challenge to themselves.

Dragon Ball Abridged does a great job of poking fun at the flaws of the show while also greatly appreciating it and mixing it with their own humour.

I feel like GT's flaws would be too easy to pick on and they'd try and subvert that in their own way. There's potential for some really interesting stuff there.

I hope they do it.

If TFS is going to tackle anything, IF they are to tackle anything after DBZ, then it should be Dragonball Abridged. Yamcha will be around enough to get his own Yamcha count!

I second this. Dragonball Abridged should be done before GT can even be considered.

He probably quit due to being investigated for steroid use. That could be a DBZA plot.
