Anyone else feel that the only way all the erased universes come back is if Gohan or Piccolo get the wish?

Please, the general idea of this arc ending with all universes being brought back it's a big turn off. I mean no consequences at all? It just feels pointless.

I don't think the universes themselves are coming back so much as the people that lived in them being brought back and being relocated to U7.
From both the anime and the manga it is established that U7 is practically devoid of intelligent life, Zeno thinks there are too many universes and the mortal levels of the 8 universes in the tournament are concidered too low. Having all the people come back to life and be placed in U7 would be a good way to not go against Zeno's wishes of having fewer universes, there is plenty of room in U7 for these people and it would likely raise U7's mortal level. On top of all of that it would also change the status quo of U7 and many story telling opportunities would open up.

God i hope not. Personally i wouldn't mind if they were erased for good or atleast not brought back immediately. maybe freeza gets the wish and the next arc is about beating him and collecting the dragonballs again in order to revive everyone

There's plenty of set-up there, we'll just have to see whether they pull the trigger on it. I've said it before but I think leaving U7's status quo as it is would be a real mistake. Plus I don't feel like the Super Dragon Balls will be used for some stupid, frivolous thing when Goku and co can use the Earth's Dragon Balls pretty much whenever they want but almost never do.

This is different now, they're going against Zen-Oh purposes with the tournament by wishing everyone erased back. This arc is called "Universe Survival" so I'm expecting to see more consequences due all that struggle, some univeses/characters that we might never see again for example.

I know that's old art, but it makes me think Trunks, Goten, Pan and Bra will be major characters once we get to EOZ. The "next generation" looks to be a major thing.

Pan maybe but Trunks will take over Bulma Corp, Bra will be like her mom and Goten will chase chicks. I hope you are right but i have zero hope of toriyama doing shit with any of the young saiyans. Hell he ignored gohan for all of super until this arc and gohan was a huge part of Z

Putting a bunch of Fs, Ds, and some Cs together do not gets you to a C. U7's mortal level will not go up and if it did, it wouldn't be up to a 7. And given how Beerus and Shin were already terrible at their jobs, second worst, why would you give them more to overlook? You're also expecting universes with different cultures and ideas to suddenly mixed together and get alone, all under two incompetent gods who couldn't handled things before.

How is Planet Vegeeta like?

We'll disclose the secrets of the planet Goku and Vegeeta were born in.

Several thousand Saiyajin lived there!
A mysterious planet where primitive houses and flying spacecrafts co-existed side by side. It seems their population wouldn't increase since many fell in battle.

Children would grow up in an incubator until they were 3 years old!
There were also children that would be turned into combatants as soon as they left the incubator!
