Heck off with sourceless spoilers, that should be a rule.
It's even funnier the Japanese title and Korean Title for 120 translates to two different things.

Haha, how does this connect to Vegeta and UI? Just because I am a Gohan fan?ShinTenshin wrote:Some fans are so desperate for Gohan to be at Gokus level it's sad..Ki Breaker wrote:Some fans are so desperate for Vegeta to be at Gokus level it's sad..Legion wrote:Again with this Vegeta UI nonsense? Manga version show us how Gohan seems useless for Goku.
And we know by the oracle fish himself that it's now only Goku and Vegeta that will represent a danger for Beerus..
So Gohan future isn't to be strong.
It's clear than in the script Gohan isn't important compared to Vegeta.
Add the fact that Vegeta want to save U6 like no one.
I'm pretty sure than the last 3 of U7 will be Goku, Vegeta and Freeza.
Sorry for dreamers but Gohan will fall before them.
Soon we'll laugh about all the wrong predictions about Gohan (Surpass Jiren, new form, Top is basically the new Cell arc etc.....).
You wish.perucho1990 wrote:Vegeta will fight Jiren and obviously job.
Vegeta literally can't job to Jiren because Goku and Hit have both already been defeated showing how strong he is.perucho1990 wrote:I think the rating were down because of U2 transforming into Magical Girls, that probably made the japanese fans to change the channel.
Anyway spoilers are out
120: Perfect Survival Strategy! The threat of U3's assassin!!
121: Total warfare! The Ultimate 4-Way Fusion VS U7's All-Out Attack!!
122: Have pride in yourself! Vegeta challenges the strongest!!

GG Universe 4, they are done this saturday, U3 is done 2 weeks later.
Vegeta will fight Jiren and obviously job..
You still don't get it, do you? Lose =/= job. Seriously...perucho1990 wrote:Vegeta always loses to the main antagonist, like when was the last time Vegeta didnt fight(and lose) the arcs main antagonist?
Jobbing doesn't mean losing.perucho1990 wrote:Vegeta always loses to the main antagonist, like when was the last time Vegeta didnt fight(and lose) the arcs main antagonist?

So jobbing is now basically just another term for the 'Worf effect". I used to think it just means when someone boasts power against an opponent and can't back it up, not being relegated to a measuring stick.HeroR wrote:Jobbing doesn't mean losing.perucho1990 wrote:Vegeta always loses to the main antagonist, like when was the last time Vegeta didnt fight(and lose) the arcs main antagonist?
Jobbing means you either did a poorer job than usual to put over someone or you really lose badly to put over someone to showcase their strength. For example, Vegeta jobbed to Hit and Black to show how powerful they were since before Vegeta fought them, we didn't know how strong Hit was other than he was the strongest in U6. Black, we had no clue how much stronger he got after he fought Goku. So in these cases, Vegeta had to lose to put over these people.
However, with Jiren we know how strong he is since Goku jobbed to him when he fought him in 109-110. So we know exactly how strong Jiren is and we can say without Vegeta even touching the guy that Vegeta stand absolutely no chance unless he pulls UI. Hit didn't even job to Jiren in 111 for the exact same reason. Using an older example, Vegeta didn't job to Beerus and neither did any of the Z-Fighters except maybe Gohan and Gotenks because Super Saiyan 3 Goku was already jobbed hard by Beerus before he even got to Earth. So we knew that no one on Earth was going to do shit the Beerus.
So Vegeta losing to the main antagonist isn't always jobbing.
The term 'jobbing' is older than the 'Worf effect'. It came from professional wrestling.Michsi wrote:So jobbing is now basically just another term for the 'Worf effect". I see. Makes sense. I only ever come across this term when people discuss shounen, particularly in this fandom, so I though it was newer.HeroR wrote:The term 'jobbing' is older than the 'Worf effect'. There's really no reason he couldn't except "plot." Goku only got it through a freak chance after nearly blowing himself up. They both got Blue at the same time and they've both been through similar training with Whis.Legion wrote:Again with this Vegeta UI nonsense? Vegeta will not get any UI in this tournament, guys
I’m pretty sure that still counts as jobbing thoughBlueVegerot wrote:Krillin gets kicked away by cell

to me jobbing should be used to describe bad losses to fighters on your level or around. I don't consider losing to someone hundreds of times stronger "jobbing" but thats just how i choose to use the wordTheMikado wrote:I’m pretty sure that still counts as jobbing thoughBlueVegerot wrote:Krillin gets kicked away by cell

It's.. it's not possible to choose the meaning of a word too nowadays right?BlueVegerot wrote:to me jobbing should be used to describe bad losses to fighters on your level or around. The longer time past, the more likely of it being fake since normal channels haven't gotten the scans yet. The same thing happened last month when the official spoiler took over a day after someone posted fake spoilers.CriticalThinker wrote:I'm guessing those spoilers are probably false I mean from what we've seen of U3 I can't seen any of them being a assassin. Also don't scans come out tomorrow usually useless they came out early for once.
