Whoever wins, Dragon Ball fans and DC fans, lose.

DC fans lost as soon as "The new 52" came out (yes, I'm still bitter about the reboot destroying decades of continuity if you must know).

I thought the Night of the Owls, Throne of Atlantis and Death Of The Family were phenomenal storylines.

They were okay, but most everything else that came from it sucked. And now they're just making it worse from what I hear.

DC has had lots of reboots over the years. It's nothing new, at all. More on the subject: http://comicsalliance.com/dc-comics-reboot-history/ (and this doesn't even talk about the new 52)

Yeah but the only other time previously they rebooted their entire continuity was Crisis on Infinite Earths and that was before I was even born. Besides, COIE was actually an enjoyable read, which can't be said about Flashpoint.

Geez how many reboots does DC (and I guess Marvel as well?) need before they and fans are satisfied?

I don't think the reboots will ever stop at this point. The main point of the actual reboots has been to regain fan interest by shaking things up, and help reinvigorate sales of current issues while also allowing new fans to jump into the stories without feeling overwhelmed by having to invest in the decades worth of the old continuity. Comics can get expensive.
Direct translations of the Korean DB Online timeline and guidebook.
My personal "canon" and BP list. (Coming Soon)

Marvel don't normally reboot but reckon. Which is better than erasing years of history. They also used the Ultimate universe to retell stories.

Marvel's basically "Everything you saw has happened, unless we make something new."
On one hand Marvel's way simpler but more lazy, but DC's complicated but at least they try to have a reason for something to change.

Makes ya wonder why Marvel still didn't just jump the gun and reboot with the prime opportunity given to them with the new Secret Wars story.
When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.

I reckon stuff's going too good for them right now. But we're getting off topic, let's stop now.

So Trunks traded in his sword for a gun? A wise decision.
