On another note, Kai dub is gonna premiere at anime convention I'm going to next month.

Our friend the GreatPirateKing (or whatever he goes by 'round here), managed to get some info on Dragon Ball Kai while doing a interview with some FUNimation actors recently. So far he's said:

•Chris Patton voiced a one off villian in Kai. He couldn't remember who exactly but they definity died within their first appearence.

They did get Fish dubbed, it's just a woman singer. Still turned out pretty well, though.

So yeah, while i'll be releasing an audio version of the interview (it's mostly One Piece based since that is my major fandom but DBZKai came up), I wanted to post the important DBZKai stuff to Daizenshuu EX first!

Yes, Patton is definity playing a minor character but I think that YBM is right is suggesting it could be Kewi/Cui/however you spell it. He mentioned that they spent two hours recording lines so it wasn't just some one note villian like everyone's favourite character, Appule. Who knows, maybe they want cast the Namek arc similar to the Japanese dub and recast everyone BUT Freeza

Funny you posted the 'fish' information by mistake because what was discussed was songs. The songs are going to done in the same manner of Negima?!, with Brina Palencia directing and writing the adapatations of the songs. Leah mentioned she was currently writing 4 songs and if I am right in saying, including the OP/ED, that amount of songs appears within the first 25 or so episodes so I can confirm that they are dubbing all of the songs.

A couple of other things were mentioned but hey, I want to give people SOME incentive to actually listen to this. This information probably isn't news worthy to the main site but since EGX's info was posted, I guess someone could send it to Mike for me. I would be very thankful if someone could!

Most of the characters sounded the same except for Gohan and Kuririn.

Strait actually made him sound kinda like his Usopp, I think.
