You have a Dragon Ball Heroes arcade machine. With that machine is not a joystick or buttons like on a normal fighting game machine, but a Flight Panel Reader and a Card Reader and Lighter. This is used to scan the cards. Your player data is saved on the IC Card, the Hero License (the Capsule Corp card).Saiga wrote:Can some one explain to me what each element on the cards mean? And how the game is played (as in gameplay, how the cards work, etc).
Because I can't understand what's going on with some of the things on the cards.
So you place your cards on the Flight Panel, and from that point think of it as an RPG game and that you're positioning to cards to perform actions. From there on, you create a team of 5 Fighters and throw down.
Regarding the battle itself, you have the Planning Phase, the Charging Pact, and the Battle Phase.
Regarding the cards, you have:
1. The character's/cards name on the side;
2. The character's HP in the HP box;
3. The character's Power in the Power (red) box;
4. The character's Defense in the Defense (yellow) box;
5. The character's Battle Type Icon on the bottom left corner (Hero, Elite, or Berserker);
6. Under the Defense box, there's the Desperation Move, the character's special attack, and the number of required Hero Energy required to pull off that Desperation Move;
7. The character's Ultimate Unit under the name - the Ultimate Unit is a special squad formed when certain Fighters are positioned in a certain way on the Flight Panel; a team-up move;
8. And finally, under the Desperation Move is the character's Ability.
