He's just a gag character. Better he goes out now rather than overstaying his welcome. I don't get why people get so attached to characters who are clearly meant to be gags rather than "amount to something."
Cause if the character entertaining and funny of course people would want to see more of them and be more of than gags
That can be a good thing more then many may realize

Their are examples in shows when a character(can't think of the shows off the top of my head right now sadly, I just remember this happen in them) was only suppose to be a 1 time thing or just a very small part, but they got such a good positive reaction to them the show change and kept them around.

So Katopesia if they gather enough of a positive reaction who knows, U7 has its Jaco the Galactic Patrolman, think about a Jaco and Katopesia kind of crossover police adventures moment, Hijinks of Grandness Will Indeed Ensue!

I like the Fact that Gohan is taking the Lead here, Very Curious now what this moment will be all about  , excitement hopefully ensues!

I keep feeling THIS arc is allot about Gohan's comeback as a warrior and his development into both higher levels of power + skill, but also as a lead character in both personality and his ideals as both a Dad and the Son of Goku and Student of Piccolo.

I just hope Toei has Big Plans for Gohan in this, we have seen Goku with UI, it be nice to see more for Gohan, but after Episode 118, (Man, is their NOTHING 118 did Not Do Good  ) It seems Gohan is Growing more and more into his own character while honor who go him this far like we saw his defense moment with Piccolo! :)

Time will tell, Hope for the Best!

Interested in episode 122. Vegeta's first major 1v1 since Black which was like a year ago. Doesn't hurt Shida and Takahashi are coming back for that. Vegeta gets a focused episode and I get to see Jiren fight again against a major character. I get two things with one episode. Don't see Veggie winning, but I'd love to see him show power superior to x20.

I definitely think they shouldn't have put as much focus as they've had on Goku, but he's been given the three best fights in this tournament imo regardless.

I'd love an episode that is just Katopesla, Jaco, and Gohan as the Great Saiyaman. I don't know what would happen in it but it would be amazing.

Jiren, kefla and ? What's the third one ?

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

Goku VS Jiren
Goku VS Caulifla + Kale
Goku VS Kefla

In this order these are my favorite fights in the ToP. Absolutely love each of them and they're all in my top 10 fights in DB overall.

This whole thing is just an endurance gauntlet for U7. Literally just have universes waiting their turns to fight U7 back to back

It makes you wonder what all the other universes were doing half the time. Besides the small scenes we got of the other universes fighting each other, it's like everyone is waiting their turn to have a go at U7.

It's weird that Katopsla would go out before showing off all his modes. He has like 3 left and there's no time in 119 and to show them all off, plus in the NEP it show's he's still in Battle Mode. Guess it's Dr.Rota all over again.

Other people may disagree, but I would like to see U2 back as well. When they are written well, they have shown they can be quite enjoyable. Even if they don't appear in major arcs, I would definitely enjoy seeing them in future fillers at least, they could do some entertaining stuff with them. And if/when they do come back, I hope it's not just the Kamikaze Fireballs, I do hope they bring some of their teammates with them, because I definitely wouldn't mind seeing Jimeze and Vikal again(I don't think I can die happily until I see Vikal in a proper fight scene, her design is so good).

Anyways, outside of U6, U2 has probably left the biggest impression on me this arc alongside the Trio de Dangers and Katopesla.
U2 is honestly my favorite universe after U6. I loved the gods and their relationship with their mortals and it makes me wonder why their mortal level is so low. Rib is honestly the only one in that group I don't care for as much, but I don't hate her.

Goku barely took a backseat in the Buu saga, at best he took a leisurely stroll round back while everyone else cried for him to come back.

For dome reason, their deaths were emotional to me than u6 die to the scene with all the people accepting their fate and stuff.

I really hope Universe 3 has a good showing. A whole robot themed universe is such a cool idea, and the robots themselves have nice designs...but they're treated like afterthoughts.

I mean there's just so much potential for a machine/robot themed universe, even their God of Destruction is a damn robot.

Do you count his gauntlet with the U6 Saiyans are three separate fights? Because other than that, we only have Jiren.

I see.

Personally, Goku vs. Jiren wasn't one of my favorites, although I did enjoy it. I personally put Hit's fight with Dypso over it along with Roshi vs. Genos. But the other two you named are some of my favorites. Not sure top ten, but up there.

I can't believe Vegeta's luck, he's consistently managed to escape humiliation this entire tournament.

It's the calm before storm, the destruction dished out by Jiren will be worse than anything he has ever felt...
Of course, that won't actually happen, it's super, brutality is toned way the fuck down..

I know he's going to get destroyed by some point, but usually he ends up looking like a fool almost immediately like when he instantly got stabbed by Black.

Though I guess the scene where he was about to challenge Jiren before he was saved by Toppo kind of counts.

Seems like all of universe 7 (minus Freeza) will work together in the upcoming episodes, and i'm very excited for it. I'm hoping for some unexpected interactions like Vegeta and 18, Gohan and 17, etc.

Edit: We have preview images for 119
