It really sucks that U10 will end up as the only Universe that got 0 eliminations, U4 will get Piccolo and Katopelsa tonight, then in the next 1-2 weeks I could see 18 going out vs U3.

U10 was built as fodder. They're team leader's name basically translated to 'useless'.

What were you expecting? Gowasu was an idiot and Rumsshi lacked a functioning brain. I'm actually astonished that they were not the first Universe to be erased! So sad. They stained Zamasu's reputation.

Pretty much, I thought they would be the first out, and they probably would have been if U9 hadn't attacked Goku and Vegeta all at once.

I was expecting Murichim to get a gag fight or something at least. But Obuni being a decently strong fighter made up for that.

The other key player from Universe 10 was that guy with a rose who got one-shotted by Ribrianne

When? No one in U10 got any promotion other than Murichim and it was played as a joke.

They're literally just small pictures and they got no promotion in the actual show. And again, the leader of U10 translated to basically 'useless'. The show told us from the jump that they were fodder.

Can Freeza still have the most eliminations or has that boat already sailed?

Pretty sure Goku has like 11, so unless Freeza takes out literally every person left including Jiren, that's not happening.

I can't wait for Whis to tell us how tired Goku is while Goku is using SBJB Kaioken to beat those illusions.
I wonder if Goku will survive?The tension is killing me.

I think when we look back, that might be the single dumbest aspect of this whole tournament. It rivals "5 minutes till Namek blows" in absurdity.

It'd be one thing if they just told us Goku was tired and couldn't use his full power for long or something like that. That I could buy. But they keep harping on about it like Goku is nearly dead on his feet while he's gleefully jumping into fight after fight. He isn't even breathing hard!

The use of Frieza Time is only compunding the issue. In-universe he's just fighting for a few seconds to a minute, but from our pov he's going for 10+ minutes at a time.

I think Goku stamina wouldn't seem as bad if people stopped thinking about it like a bar in a video game and more how it works in real life.

I've seen videos where a grandmother lifts a car to save her grandchildren after a crash. Adrenaline kicks in and people reach deep into themselves to find strength.

U10's section is an absolute joke. Jirasen did jackshit and Jilcol got one shot by Jimieze. Neither of them got full fights. Unuverse 4 is questionable but the two of them got full fights.

Really they should have put Obuni and Nappapa on there as those two were the only two U10 fighters with good showings.

This was the Dragon Ball Super Featurette in Animedia September 2017 Issue, where they did a popularity poll for the U7 fighters, mentioned reasons as to why certain characters like Mr Satan, Videl and Goten didn't compete in the tournament, and talked about some of the newer characters like Paparoni and Ganos. But none of these people were promoted. Murichim was a joke from the onset, Jirasen only had 'hey, that a Yadrat'. Katoplesla is a running gag. All Nigrishi got was a line being the strongest enhance human and nothing more. None of these people were built as key players.

Then why nigrishi got one shotted,it certainly look like they gave the wrong character the screentime,would have been more suited for paparoni instead of him,what we got is just rubbish.

Nigrishi got one line about him being the strongest enhance human and how he modified everyone. That was it. It wasn't like they hyped him up for months like Toppo. Even his Toei page doesn't really mentioned anything special.

Why are you acting like that line doesn't mean anything ?You don't tell the audience that someone's the strongest and have him beat by base form Cabba.

Because the show tricked us,just look at paparoni,he totally look like the guy who created the robot,there has to be a mistake there,if the manga have paparoni rather than him in the recruitment it futher prove my theory that the staff got confused in some areas.

I'm pretty sure the false hype was part of the joke. This series has no problem making fun of itself or its characters. I think they simply gave focus to so many characters from other universes only so as to make the tournament seem bigger and help sell the scope of it.

Jokes aside I am beginning to wonder if Toei gave him that fight against the assassins from U9 as a sort of apology for his lack of action during the tournament. He could still try to pull some kind of coup and become the final villain of the arc but he's rather limited in what he could accomplish in the setting with the company present if he doesn't want to join Frost in non-existence.

If Goku does keep his promise to wish Frieza back, this arc could just be set-up to bring him back into play for later use while giving a reason he doesn't rush back to Earth for revenge.

I'm curious to see how the other universes respond to erasure because I doubt anyone is going to go out with as much style as U2 did.

I expect Quitela to lose his composure and seeing him getting erased will be as satisfying as Beerus erasing Present Zamasu.
