But i don't expect Vegeta to win. Either he would be badly injured after putting up a herculean effort or be eliminated. Either way Vegeta will come out looking way better than before win or lose.
I hope that's true.

I wonder if he'll get UI like what some have been predicting.
Don't worry they brought their best men so they could animate the parts of Goku beating up some scrubs that will take up about half of Vegeta's episode.
Well, that wouldn't be too surprising since the last time Vegeta's name was in the title, Cabba took up 70% of the scene time.
The point of EP 112 was the promise that Vegeta made with Kyabe and the determination he had to fulfill it. The title did not imply that he would fight or anything.

In EP 122, it is said that he challenges the strongest, so we know that he will apparently fight Jiren and this will get highlighted

I certainly hope Veggie manages something against Jiren but I don't see him hurting Jiren as much as some want him to.

The only thing Vegeta will manage is jobbing.

On his place? Can't tell if that was intentional.

Well unless he's getting something above UI only to get stomped, then it wouldn't be jobbing.

I suppose he might just get crushed the old fashioned way.

Slightly off-topic, but is Jump Festa on the 18th?
Feels over Reals.

With the title of 123 I am now officially excited for what Vegeta might show us.

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

Only one person can job and that is the person who initially loses a fight to said fighter to show off his power. In this case Goku jobbed to Jiren so Hit and now Vegeta will not have Jobbed to Jiren, they simply are beaten by him.

Where'd you get that definition from? Any losing performance is jobbing.

no that would be "losing" . Jobbing is used to describe a fighter who loses a fight in which the opponents power is shown off.
Example:
Goku losing to beerus on king kai planet
vegeta losing to hit.

Also by your definition of jobbing = losing, goku has been a massive jobber since the namek arc and he's never described as such

The thing about Goku is he occasionally gets important wins whereas Vegeta only beats up fodders and always loses to any real threat.

Exactly, and what would be the point in vegeta jobbing to jiren when we had kaioken goku and hit for that at this point it would beyond pointless.

To show off Jiren's stamina.

His stamina needs to be shown off why? He's only fought 2 guys and he beat them easily. Also Goku only beat namek freeza with his own power. Since then he has needed other people's power/ outside divine intervention to beat anyone.

Quit vs Cell and relied on 10 year old son
Needed spirit bomb to beat kid buu who he bragged he could beat as a ssj3
beerus spared him
whis had to rewind time vs frieza
hit jumped off the stage instead of one shotting monaka
zeno button for zamasu

While Yes Vegeta has not beaten a main villain, goku has basically been useless in that area since namek by himself

One question, this week will we get synopsis of Weekly Shonen Jump?

Last week, we had the synopsis of two episodes (120 and 121). Technically, this week we would have the synopsis of episode 122, but there will be a week without episode (day 31).

So I was kind of confused, are we going to get the EP 122 synopsis this week or not? At some point we're going to stay a week without synopsis, but I do not think it's this week

I don't think we're getting a synopsis next week due to it being a double issue I think.
