Ditto. The week after 118 was a blast, kept re-watching that Goku/Gohan kamehameha. I'm also not looking forward to the next episode as strongly as I was before. Now with U6 and U2 gone, the team being down to 5 members (out of which I only find Freeza really interesting), and the upcoming fight involving robots.... the tournament feels empty and lackluster :(
Ep 122 is the only thing I'm still waiting to see.
It is still six since 18 being out isn't confirmed.
Right. Well, my interest level is about the same, though 18 is cool. Will say I like her more than her brother and if she made it this far I wouldn't minded if she outlasted Vegeta. But I really doubt she makes it out of 120/121 uneliminated..

Haven't people been saying that about 18 since 117?

Goku barely took a backseat in the Buu saga, at best he took a leisurely stroll round back while everyone else cried for him to come back.

I don't think I have. I was of the opinion that for 119 to choose such a title, it must've meant that it was the first elimination in a long time, though I did consider it when I saw the 117 preview.

Right now I think she might've been kept around specifically for the robot/mind control subplot, but I'm sensing her luck running out after that.

But if she ends up the last fighter in the ring after the others have punched and exploded each other out of bonds

Because he is going to challenge Jiren and at this late in the game it doesn't make sense for Jiren to let him go since his team is losing. If he fights Jiren the only way he doesn't get eliminated is if he gets saved by someone.

Fair enough but I still don't see him getting eliminated characters I could see going out next is 18,17,and gohan.

18 will most likely go out before Vegeta in one of the U3 episodes. Not sure about 17, either he or Vegeta will probably go next. Goku, Gohan, and Frieza will most likely be the final three imo. Goku vs Jiren, Frieza vs Toppo, Gohan vs Dyspo. I think Frieza will win his fight, Gohan may go out or take Dyspo with him, but he will be really tired at the end, and Goku will either stalemate or barely lose to Jiren. I think Frieza may take out a tired Jiren to possibly win the tournament. Maybe Gohan could win it if he is still in. Tbh I wouldn't be that surprised if Jiren won and wished the losing universes back.

Didn't Heroes have a whole clip with Freeza and Goku being the last ones in the ring with Jiren? And he's nowhere in that poster....

How reliable is it to use Heroes as a spoiler fountain?

That was just heroes being heroes. But I am wondering is Freeza really going to be bought back after the arc?

But isn't this poster just Heroes being Heroes?

I have this nagging suspicion he's going to stick around. I just think they feel the need to have a shaky ally type member since Vegeta can't fulfill that role anymore.

There not going to get rid of the second most popular character heck they wouldn't even replace goku and he was supposed to get replaced twice.

Someone made a rant on 17 on a different site so I'm just gonna post it(want to know people opinion on this).

17 seriously needs to go as he is just an intruder stealing screen time from others when he doesn't deserve it.

He is a complete nobody who just lived in a forest and Toriyama didnt even care to make him apart of the recurring cast like 18 in the Buu arc and then 17 somehow gets the treatment he gets now and it is just ridiculous.

Not saying he's going to replace Vegeta, just that Freeza could fill the position Vegeta once occupied, meaning that of the uncertain and volatile ally. DB always had one those around, but Vegeta's character development doesn't allow for him to act like that anymore.

I felt like vegeta character was done at the end of z but apparently I was wrong.

They did backpedal a bit with his growth , but he's nowhere near his Cell arc version. Freeza, on the other hand, would be an interesting addition in terms of character interaction, but his villain status is so emblematic to the franchise that attempting to shift it in any other direction could go terribly wrong....

Agreed. That IS the time-honoured format we've come to expect and I doubt that any traditions are going to be broken here either.
Vegeta went two story arc without matching Kaioken Blue, what time-honoured format are your referring to?
The one where Vegeta gets his butt kicked.

Considering, most of U7 haven't been useful since I'm not even going to count the Cell saga since all everyone did was make the problem worse, I think this argument falls flat.

But like I said, I really do wonder how fans would have reacted if other universes did knock out their favs sooner?

The same way they do when it happens now. This is bullshit, what a waste of a character, it's absurd that x lasted longer than y when y had this "hype," etc.
