If that's Yamamuro, then I am surprised. What about Tsuji ? It can be her too right ? Also her corrections are pretty similar, they don't overshadow the animator's work usually.
Zero chance that's Tsuji.
I don't think this shot is from the opening, looks like it's from an episode.
The opening reminds me a bit of how Yamamuro was Supervisor for the Future Trunks stuff for F but yet all the animators were still clearly visible.

There are definitely
shots that look particularly on-model, but that's about as far as it goes. Some of the later stuff is on-model,
but definitely not 'perfect' like your typical Yamamuro correction. I think what throws me off is that
Tate's Grand Priest is left untouched; it's not on screen for particularly long before it's covered up by the effects, but it's definitely not in line with the rest of the OP's visuals -- it seems like the type of thing Yamamuro would correct.
I wonder if it's supervised by someone we wouldn't expect, and the inconsistencies we're seeing are just a result of 2nd key animators?
I'm not seeing any Tsuji so I probably wouldn't have her name on the table. I dunno, really. My rule lately has been not to overthink things, which is why I jumped straight to Yamamuro. We'll see!
It could just be that these shots will be further corrected for the broadcast of Episode #77. After all, according to Ootsuka Ken he hasn't even finished his work for the Opening yet.

Ooo, he's on the opening? Anyone else tweeting about it?

Yeah, it's definitely stylistically different compared to everything. You may well be right.
Could be! If this is Yamamuro taking everything on board, then that's 100% fine by me. Hopefully
JulieYBM's wrong and we don't see anything altered further.
God, I might have to change my signature. The

Noooooooo!
I expect to see Tate pulling an Eguchi and taking to Twitter for the first time just to complain about being entirely redrawn.

He tweeted that he was in layout phase for a 'certain opening', and we kinda just assumed based on that. I hope he is!

I don't see any Tsuji in this op at all.
Personally, I stated that the "Goku vs Wolfguy" moment was good Tate + Yamamuro. The jaw and hands look Tate-like but the eyes and hair are so Yamamuro. Also Vegeta and Brolyne both looked super on model and Super Dragonball heroes, which implies more Yamamurisms. I really don't know why he is not here also I doubt that he is solo animating anything. My idea is that he had many projects as director or just supervisor and as a result he is missing from the series for the longest.
Saying that Toei had the universal arc planned for a long time and they kept Yamamuro occupied on this arc is beyond extreme. That would imply that Toei's planning is amazing and also that the planets aligned so well that they were able to produce a great arc without the main guy helping. I believe in the power of the dragonballs but not even Shenron's powers can ensure that kind of miracle

What did Yashima do in this episode? He is one of the few animators I can recognise the style but I can't see anything from him here, I was wondering how much he did to see If that will affect 77 but he was heavily corrected.

How long ago was that?

His work was likely heavily corrected. He can make episodes in 6 weeks, so I doubt him doing a little bit here will affect him. I'm more interested to see how many second key animators there will be, with just 3 second key animators his work was the minority in episode 70, but 77 will be an Ide episode so he won't have Tsuji, and Miyuki Yokoyama and Rieko Sugawara both showed up in the newest episode so they might not be correcting on 77.

Just noticed that the Goku vs Wolf guy cut looks very good also because there are no highlights on Goku's hair. Also that final Goku shot doesn't have any shininess to it.
Have they finally heard our prayers?

Some of the animators don't do the hair highlights, Tate is one of them.

I just hope that we see very little of Yamamuro in the opening if not nothing.

We won't, he's still all but disappeared from the series. Although from glancing, some seem to think that Yamamuro corrected part of yesterday's promo, which I'm 95% sure is false. I'm not as well-versed as some members of this thread, but I can pick out Yamamuro from a mile away, and nothing from that trailer screamed his name at me.

Interesting that all the hair highlights are gone in the preview. It's all fully black now.
When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.

Not really. Not everyone uses the highlights to begin with.

Hey Ajay, since you said you loved Shimanuki's Golden Frieza, do you think Frost final form was animated by Shimanuki? The bodies look the same

I dunno, I'm not seeing the similarity. Almost definitely not him, though. He can't animate that well, unfortunately.

Speaking of Shimanuki, do you know who's style it is that dominates the NEP? I don't see a single Shimanuki shot.
EDIT: Anyways I love that they actually drew Vegeta's nose like it was in the Saiyan arc.

I am more impressed that that awful triangles in the noses are missing and Nappa's nose. You know what I mean. That the right part of their noses has a weird black/shadowy part that doesn't need to be there and it looks like their nose is 2 lines+that black triangle.
