The finale of Dragon Ball Kai on the CW4Kids is next week so they will be ending I guess until the Fall at Episode 52.

Also, on a more humorous note they didn't color Mr. Popo blue 100%. You could see in some scenes some black left in his body and in the scene with Shenlong some black lines around his ears and such.

19 & 20 aired today with Kikuchi's score, and these episodes were scored much better than the later episodes. However the recap for 20 had Yamamoto's recap music on mistake, and also in episode 20 when Vegeta was plotting about getting the Dragon Balls the same music that played during the same scene in DBZ played.

Why was that even necessary? Is the shape of the pelvic area alone, even without any genitalia now considered taboo in American TV? Are they going to freaking shade over Vegeta's spandex crotch now?

Well, it's 4Kids... What do you expect? I've never trusted them with an anime ever since they got the license for One Piece. They do the most absurd things even now with Dragon Ball Z Kai.

But still, 4Kids has a bad reputation when it comes to edits. Would the censorship for Kai be any better if it was broadcast on 4Kid's FOX block? I think not, from what I've seen.

Fox is more flexible than CW. Have you seen the 4kids TMNT series? They got away with a load of violence on Fox. Even Fox had to ban some episodes after it's initial airing. I heard when 4kids tried to air some of the older TMNT episodes on CW, they had to re-edit them. From what I've seen, DBZ Kai probably would have fared better on Fox.

FUNi is really half-assing with switching over to Kikcuhi with the earlier episodes.

What the hell? I don't even know if there's an explanation for how that happened. Maybe when Funi got the new Kikuchi track, when they had to replace the insert songs, instead of taking out Tokusentai and putting in Ginyu Force Rules, they just threw Ginyu Force Rules on top of Tokusentai.
