Thank you for clearing that up. That also explains why king piccolo could not create Dragon Balls (which is something I never thought of until now)TheDevilsCorpse wrote:Piccolo Daimao is a Dragon Clansmen. It's rather confusing since Kami/King Piccolo/Piccolo are essentially the same
Piccolo Junior is a Warrior though...with a couple of Dragon Clan skills because of his complicated origin.

*Wondering how late it should be before giving up checking on Amazon.jp for restock of this month's VJump.*
I read on Twitter that Mike was talking about it sometimes getting restocked a few days after, but nothing's shown up yet. It could because of the weekend just happening though. I'm considering checking in once a day until the end of the week; that sound reasonable?
Did they restock since the 19th and I miss it? Anyone know?

A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

It happened to me at CDJapan on the first issue that had the Super manga, but I got it on Amazon.jp before they ran out.FortuneSSJ wrote:Do v-jump always sell this much? Issues two and three were still on those sites after the release dates. That's why I thought I'd be ok this time too. Apparently not. It's really turned me off of wanting to get it each month (My plan was only to go to the end of reBOG anyway). If I can't get this one, I'm waiting for the tankoubon after this.

That's a good thing because it means the legacy keeps on. Dragon Ball was the main reason for the Golden Era of Shounen Jump.Chuquita wrote: It happened to me at CDJapan on the first issue that had the Super manga, but I got it on Amazon.jp before they ran out.

And seems like Super is doing its own thing in V-Jump. I wonder what will happen when Universe 6 arc starts.

I'm so anxious for Uni 6. I think the manga will be even more fun to follow than it is now because we finally won't know what's coming next. X3

Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
We already have that with the manga. It's just not with Goku and co. Though with how much of the Battle of Gods story is being skipped thanks to the cutaways to Champa, the Kaioshin and Freeza's forces, they almost seem more like the subplot anyway.Chuquita wrote:I'm so anxious for Uni 6. Got the latest issue today and i think this one has the besst cover so far. Its nice to also have battle of gods, in some forum, in manga format. Should be interesting to see how revival f goes since it was just drawn for the movie promotion. I wonder if there will be any resused pannels?

Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
My understanding is that there's a particular/special Yu-Gi-Oh card in this issue and a bunch of toy stores / other retailers bought up all the online stock to resell the card. I had to buy my issue second-hand.

So Yu-Gi-Oh was the reason; that makes sense. ( T u T )VegettoEX wrote:My understanding is that there's a particular/special Yu-Gi-Oh card in this issue and a bunch of toy stores / other retailers bought up all the online stock to resell the card. I had to buy my issue second-hand.
I went and google-translated the Amazon.co.jp page for the issue and all these one-star reviews are saying the same thing.
Do the "fulfilled by amazon" used copies ship outside Japan do you know?

Not all of them. It's a crapshoot for who does. I got up to ¥1,280 before I found one who would.Chuquita wrote:Do the "fulfilled by amazon" used copies ship outside Japan do you know?

I found one. About the same price as you mentioned. It's a "fulfilled by Amazon" and the seller had good ratings, and I really really want this issue so I bought it.
I'm fine with waiting for the volume releases once it gets to the F arc (I'll probably stop buying VJump once Toyotarou hits the end of the BOG arc), but I really want the reBOG manga in the nice, larger size it shows up in VJump.
