I wonder ... we've pretty much seen 17's most badass moment, and next couple of eps we undoubtedly get Vegeta's. I wonder if this means that 17 and Vegeta are the next ones out.

Could Gohan outlast Vegeta?

Gohan is winning the tournament, I have been saying that since the beginning and and plan on sticking with it..
It's often forgotten you don't need to be the top power to win this thing and gohan isn't necessarily what I would call weak either, there are plenty more reasons to believe he will out last everyone but I would rather not say them until the results come..

Gohan somehow winning would surely restore a lot of lost faith the poor guy used to have. He needs a win, that's for sure.

(Still rooting for the alien tyrant, though)

As far as U7 characters treatment goes - Roshi, C17 and C18 fans should not even complain about this three anymore.
They did more in this arc, than they ever did in the rest of the franchise.
A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

Favourite old DB Animators: Masaki Sato and Tadayoshi Yamamuro
Favourite new DB Animators: Yuya Takahashi and Chikashi Kubota

I have to disagree with Roshi. He did a lot in this arc, true, but he did more in the original Dragon Ball.

Goku barely took a backseat in the Buu saga, at best he took a leisurely stroll round back while everyone else cried for him to come back.

Don't know how a correction pen can help Gohan against Jiren, but I've seen crazier things. Maybe he'll throw it at jiren's eye like Krillin did with his shoe.

Why the hell did Gohan use correction pen on his hair? IS THIS HIS SECRET PLAN OF DEFEATING JIREN!?!??!

A lot of fans changed their minds after 105 and considers him one of the best things about the tournament.

He didn't.

He humiliated Tenshinhan in their own recruitment episode and also fought Adult Base Goku.
He eliminated three U4 fighters by himself.
Back then in DB, he couldn't use Mafuba once without dying. In ToP, he did 3 Mafubas and he's still chilling out on the bench.
He saved Vegeta after Frost sealing him.
No one eliminated him. He jump off the arena on his own.

Bonus: Episode 107 is the only ToP episode directed and storyboarded by the two Directors of this arc.

Do you even realize why people say stuff like "Vegeta will go out to rebrianne"? It's just bait to get responses like this.
Sure.

I guess it's a win-win situation, if something you say comes true you say "I told you so" and if it doesn't you say "it's just bait to see what you say".
I don't remember you guys getting this defensive back when people were saying that. Is it perhaps because there is a decent chance that Vegeta will get eliminated? Is that why you guys are on the attack on anyone who says so?

And I have no idea why you're going after me. I'm tired of U7 dominating and want another memeber to drop, preferably 17 or Vegeta. If Vegeta got eliminated, I would have just said "I'm glad he's out", although now I'm tempted to rub it in your faces if it does happen due to your responses.

In Dragon Ball:

- He blew up a mountain that was on fire with the Kamehameha, something not seen in the story until that point
- He trained Goku and Krillin and showed them up several times.
- He went into the 21st tournament as Jackie Chun and beat Yamcha without being touched and knocked him out the ring with a breeze. Beat Krillin. And then had a four hour epic match with Goku that he eventually won and is called on of the best fights in the franchise.
- In the 22nd tournament, he fought Tien and pushed him to the point that Tien was stunned. He then rung himself out and Tien noted that he still didn't go all out. With words, he eventually made Tien turn away from his evil master and based the Crain Hermit out the ring with a Kamehameha.
- He lead the charged against King Piccolo and came up with a plan to stop him. When that failed, he used the Evil Containment Wave that scared the shit of King Piccolo and sent Piccolo running like a child. He only messed up by missing the rice cooker.
- He was the one to encouraged Kami after he despair about creating Piccolo.

You severely undermine Roshi in the original Dragon Ball.

Also, Toei officially gives Roshi's elimination to Frost and the reason why Vegeta even got sealed was because Frost tricked him.

This episode was good. Something like this would be cooler to have as a two part segment than some three-four episodes of a same same we`ve had. At least it takes some focus out of Goku and let others also fight.

Freeza with that Sailor Moon transformation and the five with that Captain Planet rainbow attack

To be honest, I'm a bit scared of what can happen in 122. I think jiren wont be anywhere near his full power when he fights vegeta, but what if he turns out to be using a lot of his power, what does that mean when compared to a god of destruction? Jiren is one who has surppassed a god of destruction, and a top tier god if we go by the manga.

I just pray to arceus and toribot that nothing stupid happens in this episode.

Goku hasn't has a lot of focused since 118. In fact, this episode is the most Goku has done in awhile.

It was Frost's actions that led to Roshi eliminating himself.
