It's kinda sad, but I'm starting to get flashbacks to when people were constantly going "Out in x weeks" about Caulifla. While we should never put too much stock into Dragon Ball Heroes stuff, I'm starting to feel like the card with UI Goku in front and Blue Vegeta right behind him just might end up being accurate. I think there's a 40% chance that could happen while the other 60% is Vegeta taking a hit for Goku and getting knocked out instead, giving Goku the edge he needs to win. There are 4-5 types of fusion, the first of which has been used in the Namek Saga (before we've seen the first Super Saiyan) and all but one of them have already been used in/for the ToP. Whis has really been nagging at Goku and Vegeta to work together in their training. It would be nice to see all of his lessons come to a head here. Maybe it's just me, but it feels like Goku and Vegeta are starting to outgrow Whis and Beerus as mentors. Well...Whis mostly. Oh I'm sure there's plenty more for them to learn if Whis is willing to teach it. Fusion might be a deus ex machina towards others, but against jiren, fusion is just a simple power increase. Piccolo who is in low thousands gets in million range.
Two brats which are individually weaker than piccolo become stronger than antagonist which was dozens of time stronger than if not hundreds time stronger.
Then,vegata and goku become more powerful than the antagonist who again if not hundred times but still is dozens of times powerful becomes fodder to fusion.Same with merged zamasu.
