Dear god that Goku and Jiren image looks terrible. And even worse, they thought that would be a good image to use for a promo? I pray that gets fixed before the episode airs.

Gohan has absolutely shined in this arc so far. He had fantastic fights that he won against Obuni, Saonel and Pirina, and Koichiarator, and he contributed to taking down Anilaza. Gohan only looks like he hasn't shined if you deliberately ignore all the monumental evidence and claim that he's vastly weaker than Blue Goku and Vegeta, which makes his victory over Saonel and Pirina, as well as Koichiarator, seem meaningless.

That said, I do expect him to get a bit more shine against U11 before this arc is over. He's probably going to either help Freeza eliminate Dyspo or he's going to save Freeza from Dyspo and eliminate Dyspo himself. That's not even getting into what he could possibly do after that.

Yeah, I'm pretty confused by peoples dissapointment. He's had a lot of screen time , character development, and wins this arc. I just don't know what people would consider good enough . Defeating Jiren ?

If Gohan isn't stoically standing there, staring down enemies, and then proceeding to one shot gut punch them, people won't be satisfied. God forbid he actually struggles and wins through attrition and has an actual...you know...FIGHT.

I wouldn't mind a draw taking place. Except for the filler tournament in the afterlife, every finale has had one of the two finalists take home the gold. It would be interesting to see how an official tie where both parties are somehow eliminated at the same time is interpreted under the current stakes of the tournament. Do both universes get to stay alive? Will they each take turns using the Dragon Balls? Or could everyone be erased since an official winner would never have been declared and the greater authorities just decide to return back to the original plan of erasing all of them? It sounds like one of the most unexpected and original endings that this arc could have, in my opinion.

That will anger so many people. We have spend nearly 1 year watching this only to end with a tie?!

Lol this is my exact reaction whenever people say this. Same thing with the people that want the tournament to get interrupted. What the hell?! Why would I sit through a YEAR of this nonsense only for it to end in some anti-climactic tie, or even worse, not finish? Leave the disappointing competitions to real life please. This tournament needs to end with a definitive winner, or I'm gonna reach max butthurt levels.

Gohan has had fantastic scenes in this arc, but he does indeed lack that one defining moment. Botamo was just the start, his fight with Obuni was him finding his groove, Saonel and Pirina were there more for Piccolo and their bond, Aniraza was about team work. Honestly, the only really bad performance he gave this arc was in 106, and that seems to have been so that it could be tied better with 118.

And I honestly think he's gonna have at least one big moment coming up (I also personally feel like the "twist" ending will be him winning the whole thing). It could very well end up becoming true. If there is one character I could see winning instead of Goku, it's Gohan. I'm a little surprised at the sheer vehemence against this idea. Sure, he's not been perfect this tournament, but who has? There is not one character that hasn't needed to be saved or needed a hand at some point (Freeza doesn't count, he just started doing stuff) and while it's obvious he is a bit on the inexperienced side compared to the true veterans, he has been fighting galatic level threats since he's been freakin' five, so he deserves his spot in U7's top 5.

Jiren looks like he ate too many twinkies and he's angry at Goku because he stole some from him.

The other images look good though. Wonder why Arack and Campari (or Korn) is sitting with Universe 7.

EDIT: That is definitely Campari. Korn's clothes are brown while Campari's are orange. The angel in the image has orange clothes.

Most Gohan fans(not all but stil) are really greedy,the kind you give an apple to and then they want all the apples you have,same here its not enough that Gohan does something,they will not be satisfied unless he takes it all.

This kind of greediness is what blinds them as well,in dbz outside of defeating Cell Gohan did not do much that sets him aside from the other supporting characters,in fact if we take away his Cell feat then you arrive at the conclusion that:
Gohan has been a stronger Krillin as far as the Freeza and Buu saga is concerned in terms of role and 5/6 of the Cell saga as well.

Gohan's fans cannot let go out of his best accomplishement and are still stuck on it,they cannot move on which is why they are not satisfied with what Gohan has gotten so far in this arc,when in reality 9/10 times he was mostly supporting/secondary role(that includes dbz as well).

At first I thought that was Beerus drawn with a beer gut but it seems like it's that fish looking god of destruction. Wonder why he's sitting over there with U7, also seems like will be getting the start of Toppo vs 17 and Gohan in this episode. Was already hyped for the episode but I'm even more hyped now and can't wait for it to come out.

That makes sense, a lot actually, no other reason Universe 7 particularly needs to house them, it's not like the gods to come for a little chit chat either..
