Took most of the day, but I have successfully re-played the story mode of the first Xenoverse! Actually came away with a few other worthwhile achievements going towards Xenoverse 2 too, shockingly.

1) Got my main Time Patroller up to Lv. 99 finally, woohoo! And he's perfectly balanced for my play style with him - Max Health (75), Max Ki (25), Max Stamina (25), Basic Attacks (75), Strike Supers (25), Ki Blast Supers (75). So basically he's pretty well tanked for health, basic attacks, and ki blast supers.
2) Got all of the outfit pieces and skills I want him to have all set up on him too, so he's all the more ready for transfer to Xenoverse 2.

So uh, if that was what you were waiting for to ship me my game, Amazon, the ball is all the more in your court now.

My pre-order Gokû Black and Tao pillar are missing, but if it's affecting everyone, I'm sure it'll be fixed soon. I'm going to try a mission and call it quits for now. I don't want my laptop to get too warm or anything.

I've been cleaning house with Bardock & Hit so I'm going to be running them a lot.

I'm pleased with how my laptop has been handling this game so far. I have all the settings on low, the fps at 30, kept the grass and dramatic lighting and it's fine. I still think I should keep track of my time to make sure things don't get too warm though.


Other than that, I'm happy with how much I remember controls-wise from the previous game. I appreciate that there is a walkthrough this time though (I never really learned how to heal party members last time).

I might just not be hitting the right buttons for the pillar? When I board a vehicle it's the default hoverboard. Is there somewhere in the menu I'd go to pick which vehicle to board?

How the heck do you get Saiyaman to train you? All of the guides I've googled say to just talk to him but he just says:

"You're not ordinary fighter! I never knew there were fighters out there as good as we are! Y'know, you might just have what it takes to... Ha ha ha! Please excuse me. I'm getting ahead of myself! Now what was I saying...?"

And that's it.

Egads, there are no create-a-character voices that aren't garbage. I spent more time trying to figure out which voice was least-worst than I have actually playing the game.

You can play with the sound off.

That would be ridiculous since I want to hear the other voices. I just have made due since he doesn't really do a lot of talking anyway.

So the TP Medal Shop is finally open and you can now purchase some cool skills, clothing, accessories etc. with the TP medals you earn. The TPM shop is open every Friday to Saturday.

It's in the options menu under "Vehicle Options." I prefer the default one, though. Dashing on the pillar is a pain in the ass because there's little to no control over steering speed on it.

Ryuken costs 200 and is stupid hard to land but deals some absolutely insane damage. Big Bang Attack is another must have that's dirty cheap.

Does anyone have any idea what the Super Move "Charged Ki Wave" does? Cooler (Final Form) has it and I can't figure it out at all.

So I have a male saiyan, with maxed out strike supers and.... It doesn't matter what I do, Ki blast supers are still stronger :C why is this happening? I have 0 points in ki blast supers, I'm using Hit's ultimate attack, and death ball does much more damage.

You trade your Ki for stamina, it's a pretty handy move.

Is there any way to completely erase your save so that you can redo the transfer? I wasn't aware that Dimps thought it would be funny to randomly change what stat bonuses certain clothing items gave you.

You trade your Ki for stamina, it's a pretty handy move.

You don't even get a full bar of stamina... Rise to Action is better. Shame that Cooler has a move slot wasted.
