I can't see a finish date on that page. When did this first go up, and how long do they have to reach their $10,000/month goal?

Patreon is different from Kickstarter, instead of making a single donation for a project that needs 30 days to be funded, it's monthly payments between the 1st and 5th every month. Even if the studio is never funded, every month the team gets X amount.

And it's been up since yesterday. They'll likely hit 10k before Friday at the rate they're going.

Well considering Mr. Popo and Old Colored Jynx (Black sounds too racist) are a thing that's a big possibility.

I'd say that the connotations of the word "black" vary between languages and countries.

I personally find the term "colored" hilarious. After all, there are many colors, how do we know which one we're talking about?

(And I think black is just fine. No one has a problem with "white people", colored doesn't make much sense and "afro-americans" is something that is only for America.)

Further support to the theory: In their first video Dumplin said the Time Nest looked similar to his own world, and he could have been referring to Kami's sanctuary (as they are both weird floating platforms with funky weird time stuff inside of them).

No, he means that black isn't a color, because black is the absence of color and light. It's literally not a color.
