...Why won't Toei use Kageyama anymore in any franchise he was a major part of musically in their past? Dragon Ball, Saint Seiya, Super Sentai, none use his music anymore. I hate that.

That said, I'm willing to give the music a chance. I'm a fair guy, even when mad about something (unless it's over losing David Hayter as Snake...screw Kojima for that, there was no reason over him wanting a bigger name in the modern day).

Should be interesting to hear the sound track for this movie.

Kageyama might be too expensive. Kei once said that younger audiences might consider his voice too 'old', too. I doubt we would be getting F if not for Toriyama.

Too expensive for the cash cow that Dragon Ball is? He pretty much does every Garo and Super Robot Wars OP, plus most Getter Robo OPs.

And of course we wouldn't be getting "F" if not for Toriyama. Another DBZ movie? Maybe. But this took Toriyama chancing to hear a fan-done song by a band. I doubt anyone in Toei would have done the same thing.

Dragon Ball gets cheap treatment all the time, just look at the JSAT special,
Kai's poorly redrawn scenes and many parts of Battle of Gods.

I'm surprised the VJump preview isn't uploaded yet. It's usually up one week ahead of release. Hoping it gets updated at least by the end of the workday in Japan.
On hiatus.

What does a preview usually entail? A cover? Topics?
I've only started paying attention to Jump over the past few months.

She's referring to the "Next Info" page on their website. For a good while, it just has the dragon mascot and an announcement of the date/price. Once it gets closer to magazine release, it becomes a scrolling page promoting certain content. It's stuff like which games will have scoops, big news teases, which cards will be included as physical bonuses, etc.

It's, for example, where they (inadvertently?) leaked the fact that Kai was coming back.

Ooh, thanks. I'll be sure to keep an eye on this.
Here's hoping for something substantial in the coming days.

I thought the JSAT special looked really damn good and many portions of Battle Of Gods looked good. Kai on the other hand was done with a very limited budget and it showed.

As they cofirmed Momoiro Clover Z to make the theme song for the movie, I was kinda of skeptical and still is, heard both of there songs, and they sound like a happy upbeat group, not a hard menacing group like Maxmium the Harmone, but I hope I'm wrong, I hope I hear the song, and go back on my word, and say "this actually fits in the movie"

It was also confirmed in a Japanese Newspaper, that Momoiro Clover Z music will make an appearance as the theme song, in Fukkatsu No F.

Kinda weird to see Dragon Ball Z written in Katakana like the romanized logo. As for Momoiro Clover Z, I have no opinion. If the song's good, sweet. But the group isn't one I actively listen too. Really only heard the Crystal theme song. I feel like they were only chosen because of the 'Z' in their name.

Yeah I believe that too, I'm not going to lie, I just heard of this group right now since they have announced them having there music appear in the theme song, and when I saw they had Z in there name I believed a conjugation with Dragonball Z straight away, If it was Maximum the hormone doing the theme song, I would have felt a little sign of happiness but for this I have to wait and see.

Me too man, I wasn't happy with Hayter not being Snake, but I'm fine with Sutherland's performance too

I hope Vegeta isn't going to be the one to defeat Frieza like a lot of people are speculating. Goku already lost to Beerus in the last movie and there's a picture showing him beaten up in this movie presumably after fighting Frieza.

If he loses to the villain two movies in a row I can't imagine people liking that. The first time it made it pretty different but if it happens again he's going to start looking incompetent.

I'm pretty indifferent when it comes to who should win the fight (if there even is a winner).
I'm more interested in seeing how everyone is doing three years after the last movie.

Goku and Vegeta are sure to have made progress, and I'm excited to see Kuririn at work.
...And of course, Toriyama's been teasing that there's more to the story than we know;
I'm sure whatever it is will be very important.

Confirmed, Sailor Moon and the Sailor Senshi defeat Frieza after Goku and Vegeta lose and Movie 16 is a full blown DBZ/SM crossover.

Speaking of which, Vegeta's voice actor played a fashion designer in an episode Sailor Moon SuperS.

That and Kai was done to try and make some quick money from the DBZ franchise and ensure people didn't forget it existed. The major problem with that is I can't recall at any point since the early 90's where DBZ wasn't being mentioned in some capacity or shown on some station (primarily Cartoon Network). It hasn't really had time to be forgotten about and Kai came out not long after the previous re-release of the series in HD on DVD and all Kai really promised was less of the show (removing filler), some cleaned up animation with redubbing and changed music. It was still the same story we'd known for some 20-odd years

They just weren't making money off Kai. Nobody was really buying it and people were content to just watch it on Nick or Disney or whoever had the rights to flaunt it at the time. I remember them canceling it after the Cell saga and it wasn't until later that they said they'd finish Kai with the Buu Saga but it'd go straight to DVD/Blu-Ray instead of airing it on TV first. And when they decided that, the Disney Channel went up and started airing DBGT instead, and changed absolutely nothing about it.
