I think it would be funny that right before they're about to revive Freeza, his 24 hours would be up and returns to Hell.

Goku is the only one stupid enough to bring him back cause there's no way u11 will.
I actually don't think Goku is that stupid. He knows full well the Earth's Dragon Balls can only bring a person back to life once. That's why he was so furious when Frieza killed Krillin on Namek. But he kept quiet about that when Frieza said the Earth's DBs would do and he's certainly not above lying to or tricking people as we've seen a few times this arc.

The only way I see Goku honoring that agreement is if Frieza is wholly loyal and helpful until the very end or if he somehow does something good and saves the day.

Even if he did strike a deal with Belmod like I suggested I don't think that deal would actually be honored. Once the tournament ends, Frieza really has no leverage except for gratitude for his help. He might run afoul of the old 'you have outlived your usefulnes' trope himself.
It would be stupid of Freeza to trust Belmod and he knows it well, considering he told Frost to never trust anyone.

It's only been 2 hours at most since he was brought back so unless they have some 20+ party that won't happen.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

He doesn't know about the dragon radar so they could just look for the balls without it to drag those hours out.

There is the chance that part of the spoilers could be fake.

Like Freeza getting mad at Goku for eliminating those U2 people, or Dyspo causing trouble for U7 and Freeza telling the team he will take care of him.

Tell Frieza to go find the dragon balls himself. Whis can keep an eye on him.

How about Oolong comes from out of nowhere and wishes for panties instead?
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

Couldn't they just pull a "Buu Saga SS3 Goku" on Freeza though? Have him return back from the tournament and have Baba waiting with her being all "the use of your Golden Freeza form drained all the time you had remaining in the living world". It would be hard to do though because of it all taking place in a different world (or is it considered a dimension?)

I never thought about that. If Freeza overuses it against Dyspo that very well could happen.

From the very beginning, when Freeza was announced to be using his 24 hours to join the Tournament, I've wholeheartedly believed that something like this will happen to him. I can see him making it to the final two and then turning on his surviving (though exhausted) teammate, declaring he alone will make a wish on the Super Dragon Balls, then goes Golden and prepares to throw out his teammate, but he is suddenly nowhere to be seen. He reappears in his cocoon in Hell and shouts in anguish that he was so close.
"Reign supreme? In your dreams; you'll never make me bow.
Kick my ass? I'm world-class and Super Saiyan now."

I've suggested that and it was dismissed because True Golden Freeza has no drain. Today I'm surprised I didn't counter that by questioning the ridiculous assumption that Dragon Ball Super would be consistent about the power drain of any form.

Dear God, no. That would be so anti-climatic. At least for Frieza fans like myself.

Then again, this *is* Dragon Ball, and weirder stuff has happened.

A big plot twist would be Toppo being the strongest of u11 all along.
0% chance of happening. While Toppo could very well have power on hakaishin tier, jiren has always been stated to be above it. But i doubt toppo will be as strong as current hakaishins. If he is, then i will write this comment on a piece of paper, blend it with viniger, and drink it.

Was this saga confirmed to end in March or is that all just a popular rumour?

The saga was confirmed to run all the way up to march. The rumor is that dbs will be going on a break after the T.o.P. that has yet to be confirmed.

Well, he says he perfected energy drain but he should still burn off power just by using it. He griped about wasting stamina against SS2 Cabba. I guess the question would be how much power he'd have to consume before he burned through his time.

I´m expecting frieza to ring out either dyspo or toppo thanks to his fake-betrayal, the writters know the played out his first fake-betrayal poorly, because frieza could´have knocked out frost without pretending he was changing sides, so they want to redeem theirselves and use this trump card correctly.
