I don't really know lol... *waits for Kaboom's input*
Well... it sounds like a nice idea. I don't know whether or not we're capable of doing it, though. I still haven't gotten a positive "yes" from Shinpan yet, and I'm already flopsweating over the anxiety of having to coordinate and direct poeple recording dialogue via the internet soon, even
with Rick and Gwen's help. I can't even imagine how I would be able to handle coordinating folks doing music, too... O_o;;
So, to all those interested in recording our own Cha La... I'll tell you what. Hold that thought for now, because we've still got a ways to go before we get to it. It's a nice idea, and I'm all for it. However, I've got to say one thing about it now.
If we produce and record our own rendition of Cha La Head Cha La, someone else besides me will have to be in charge of it.
It'll be a good amount of extra work to rustle up a bunch of talented musicians from the forum to learn the song and record it, all the while making sure things are coordinated, tempos are right, the recorded sound is good quality, and all that stuff (
But at least it'll be short, being the TV version,right?). And quite frankly, I've already got more than enough on my plate both inside and outside of this project.
So I think that's the way it's gonna be. If you guys really want to organize our own recording of the song, that's great. Awesome. It'll really add a big personal touch to it. But it's going to be a big job, and someone else besides me is going to have to step up and be the one to organize it all. I'll help out a little if I can, but I'm too busy with everything else to seriously devote time to it.
PROGRESS REPORT: I'm writing up the text for the Goku Re-Auditions at the moment. I should have it up sometime tomorrow, so to any and all who plan on auditioning, don't forget to practice, practice, practice!
