The best thing about UI is it being unpredictable, at least for me. I like the idea of a form that's strong but can't be used whenever the user wants to.

For some reason, I doubt there would be any retcon/downgrade if Gogeta had appeared. The fusion has already a time limit and it already defuses if the person is using a lot of energy. I can't think of any other drawback to apply for Gogeta.

Still, seeing from a plot perspective, he would have been a better choice.

UI is an awful transformation anyway made to beat an awful mortal character that had no right or reason to even be that strong, it shouldn't make you THAT powerful. I thought the whole point of it was that you can't be hit while using it, not also being psychically stronger than SSB/SSBKK/SSBE and Gods.

If Gogeta does happen i just don't want it to be a stomp, if Broly could be up a fight against Gogeta Blue it would be awesome.

Fusions are boring, imo, but I guessed they'd want to do that video game opening so oh well.

I already get potentially some more Takahashi ssjg Gokû, so I'm not that disappointed if they resort to fusion to beat Brolli.

Because there are no hints of UI being in the movie, and someone HAS to finish the job. Even if Gogeta dealt some permament damage on Broly before defusing and Goku ending it, that'd be worthy enough.

Gogeta may last longer if he does not use any strong technique. But that would disappoint me, I want to see Big Bang Kamehameha with new effects.

The tournament of power was 48 minutes yet it somehow lasted 35 episodes. Don't forget about the Namek 20 episode 5 minutes. They could easily say the fusion will just last a minute or even less yet have a 5 minute fight.

If this movie is as big as they want to be (90 million total box office) then they'll probably save Cooler and other old concepts for the movies while keeping the anime mostly focused on new original content. If they do a Cooler vs Ssj4 movie then fans will be lining up even before the movie opens.
