I'm not going to debate you on this since I myself have only limited knowledge here, but what I know in terms of basic filmmaking, a scene is defined as sequence/action taking place in a particular location in a continues time. Who comes in and goes is not a factor.

So people actually want two characters who were arguably the highlight of the entire tournament to go down and make room for another Goku / Vegeta showdown? Or even worse, another redundant Potara fusion? Don't forget that the winning guys and the one who'll have a wish granted could also be two different people, Zenos will choose their MVP and could easily be 17

So, if Vegeta will also challenge Jiren after the attack of both Jiren and Toppo, this is something he was not doing before. So it is likely that Vegeta was initially only facing Toppo (after all, the synopsis begins with this), but then Jiren enters the battle

If Jiren needs help against Vegeta then it seems like whatever power up he got was enough to put Jiren in a tough situation so if that's the case then he may not have as much trouble with Toppo as we thought.
