Soppa Saiyjins from Dorgou Ballru Zetto is my favorite transformation everah, especially when Trounksoru did it in front of Seru and when Bejita did it when he faced Jingonigen-hachigo. But for real, I use the FUNi pronunciation. - Soppa Saia People

Even though the frieza saga is my favorite. I disagree. anything new we can get I'm happy with it.

I think it is. Well considering Toriyama is heavily involved, he might have just opted in giving him blue hair for no reason. He did give Chi Chi blue hair once. But it is weird since this is an animation by Toei (which have always been consistent) and not some random cover art.

It's just a "Super Saiyan" version of SS4 Goku in Z ara clothes. I highly doubt the god form will look anything like that, since it looks like something that would be achieved after SS4.

This movie isn't regarding GT from the looks of things. This form is also plausible because of the Oozaru in the trailer. This could be Toriyama's adaptation of the SSJ4. I myself think that it should stray away from looking like SSJ4 but I did think this art was cool so I posted it.

You're totally right! Hopefully they'll make more movies starring Super Saiyan 2 God Goku, and then 3 after that. And who knows, maybe we'll get to see a new series where we see Super Saiyan 4 God Goku at his last supper.

The idea of Goku's new form having long flowing hair like the above; not sure if want; I'm inwardly debating on that. Could be nice, but it depends.
Actually, I'm not even sure if I want it to be golden ssj-type or his base form's black (or in my personal canon, super-dark blue).

Yes to eyebrows though; if there's one thing I really dislike about ssj3's design, it's the neanderthal brows. @_@
Also hope for pupils because if he doesn't have them it'll remind me too much of Brolli.

I'm, for some reason, expecting the form to look not too different from regular Super Saiyan, just with some new aura or other crazy effect. Don't know why.

You know, a year ago I finished re-watching the series. At the very end the narrator (in latin-american Spanish) bid farewell to Goku and asks hims to not take long to come back from his training with Uub for even more adventures. I surprised myself when I immediately straighten up and shouted at the screen "10 *CENSORED* YEARS! I'M STILL WAITING GOKU!"

Two months later, we got the announcement of the movie.

Now, If you excuse me, I'll keep shouting at my screen to make DBO's timeline official.

This is what I had in mind the 'Super Saiyan God' would look like. Super Saiyan 3 Goku with the tail picture made me think Super Saiyan 3 had some connection to the Oozaru/Great Ape.

I for some reason like that idea too. Accept I'm picturing a straight Goku covered in a blinding gold aura with no pupils in his eyes.

Eh I wouldn't like that. Feels like it would be lazy and stupid to not design something different.

I want Super Saiyan God to just be Goku with no pupils and an awesome blue, godly-like aura. Maybe have his hair stick up, but keep it black.
