So , it’s clear that only Goku and Jiren remain in the arena.. Screw the spoilers , I know it’s my fault for being hanging around ... now next 2 episodes won’t have any mayor thriller.. that’s one more reason i rather anime based on manga .. they don’t spoiled the manga that much t all

This is a very obvious ending to it all. frieza will have a say in the conclusion of the fight for sure.

In general I guess, point is that characters don't do what It would make sense for their character to do in any given situation because Toriyama/Toyotaro/Toei are actively avoiding making them relevant because presumably, they don't consider marketable enough. Why can't anyone else, even the ones who love fighting and getting stronger, ever actually try to get strong enough to be actually in a reasonable ballpark? Wouldn't it be out of character for them to just shy away from any opportunity for big gains? Because the writers simply don't care.

This is going to hurt to hear, but honestly Yamcha is more profitable as a joke than he is as a fighter.

Basically, fans accept shitty writing because they're total sheeple. This isn't technically incorrect, but only makes the writing and the series look even worse.

Why can't Yamcha be both? Roshi got to be both. Pretty much everyone in original DB got to be both. Besides, what ever happened to the Toriyama who like to subvert expectations? Nowadays it's just like, "LOL there's Yamcha memes? Better make them canon." That. Does. Not. Work. It's garbage writing, plain and simple.

Freeza not mentioned at all, kinda confirms the theory that they will both drop out and Freeza will win. Of course, it says that only Goku and Jiren are in the arena, but I still think Freeza will stay hidden.

The problem with Frieza hiding is that Zeno would still be able to see him on the godpad and U11 is right next to U7 in the bleachers now.

This will never happen, but I think it'd be interesting if Gokū and Jiren eliminated each other simultaneously, causing Freeza to receive the wish, but using his golden form used up his time to the extent that, just as he's about to be given the wish, he vanishes and reappears back in Hell. However, instead of giving the wish to Gokū or anyone else, the Grand Priest declares that, since the last man standing was not able to make a wish, then no wish will be made at all, meaning that, truly, nobody in the entire tournament won anything and Universe Seven's only solace is that they still exist.

On that note, I believe Freeza will be eliminated at some point, leaving only Gokū and Jiren active in the tournament.

The only person who knows Frieza is in the ring still is 17 I think. I don’t recall off the top of my head anyone acknowledging Frieza being in the ring still.

It’s not far fetched that between all the anticipation/stress of the last few minutes that they forget about him. To us it doesn’t sound logical, but maybe they could pull it off in the show.

Frieza will remain hidden until Jiren is about to beat Goku, then he will appear to fight alongside Goku and will try to cheapshot both of them, remember that Frieza knows that he needs Goku to beat Jiren, he can´t do it alone.

You damn well know it does when it comes to money otherwise they wouldn't be making toys and so many shonen parodying his todeath. Yamcha unlike every other character was never really that respected by Toriyama. He was a jobber in the tournaments, was dumped by Bulma several times, then gets killed by the weakest enemy in all of z and before you say it could have happened to any other human, it only happened to Yamcha that we saw and then the biggest disrespect he loses his girl to the man who indirectly killed him.

And IMO, all this shit is hilarious to me, when lined up like this even when in the moment they were serious. This is not a modern thing, Yamcha was always treated like dirt when it came to fighting.


This can't be said for any other human. He was always treated with respect by Roshi. He has never actually been truly defeated by an opponent. He surrendered with Honor. Krillin was always a quick on his feet fighter and got just amount of screentime as Gohan in the beginning of Z, was instrumental in Gokiu going super saiyan and he got married to queen waifu 18. Tenshinhan was a legitimate threat when he showed up, won a world tournament, and pushed semi perfect Cell back. Mr Satan befriended Buu and saved the world.


Why can't Yamcha be both, because he was never fucking both. Why can't Toriyama subvert expectations about Yamcha? Because they are none to subvert. No lie, I have Yamcha fans in real life and they liked him because he sucks since I have been a fan for 7 years. You are an anomaly in the fandom. Mistare fusion made a video about how Toriyama assassinated Yamcha's character in the Cell saga and I could only burst out in laughter. Because his character was already dead when a saibamen blew him up and krillin takes out 5 of them.


He was a joke. Don't blame Toei, for maximizing on it. Don't blame Toriyama for making a punching bag, someone had to be. Blame the fandom for not caring, it fact don't because Yamcha kinda sucks at life.

Don't feel bad, Chaiozu gets it worse, at least some people actually care about Yamcha.
