Soppa Saiyjins from Dorgou Ballru Zetto is my favorite transformation everah, especially when Trounksoru did it in front of Seru and when Bejita did it when he faced Jingonigen-hachigo. But for real, I use the FUNi pronunciation. - Soppa Saia People

I never noticed how cool some of the CD covers look. :)

That's precisely why ordinary men pursue the concept of perfection, it's infatuation. But ultimately I have to ask myself "What is the true meaning of being perfect?" and the answer I came up with was nothing. Not one thing. The truth of the matter is I despise perfection! If something is truly perfect, that's IT! The bottom line becomes there is no room for imagination! No space for intelligence or ability or improvement! Do you understand? To men of science like us, perfection is a dead end, a condition of hopelessness. Always strive to be better than anything that came before you but not perfect! Not sure if these count as purchases per se (I have long owned the DVDs and yes I do enjoy my Faulconer so the orange bricks are just lovely for me) but here is the swag I picked up at Animazement:

Entire Cast East and West that was at Animazement signed my Chozenshu 1 dust cover!

Gokus are on the Gokus in silver

...and just because of sheer luck a scroll signed by all as well

"You might think you know everything there is to know about me, but really, you're not even CLOSE."

"Never give in--never, never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy." ~ Sir Winston Chruchill / Dragon Ball Z in a nutshell

How I enjoy the anime:

Staying in Japan for the time being, and so I've been going on a minor manga-purchasing spree over the past two and a half months. The main thing (aside from a ton of One Piece) being...
Image
Nine volumes of the Kanzenban. And the Chougashuu. Oh, and the theme-song single for Battle of Gods that I just picked up on a whim despite not finding either of the songs all that impressive...
Though I suppose this doesn't really count as my most recent one Dragon Ball purchase, seeing how I did not buy all of this at once, (the actual latest purchase would be the ninth volume of the Kanzenban) but still.

Ah, how long I have wanted to update my manga-collection to something better than the utterly amateurishly translated Norwegian version... So nice to finally be able to get just that... even if I do still occasionally have a bit of trouble understanding what they're saying since reading Japanese is not exactly my strong point.

It cost me a bit, but not really that bad considering some people are trying to sell box 2 alone for about as much as I got the set for. I got them all in one eBay listing. The seller had them listed for a little higher than I wanted to pay, so I asked if they were willing to compromise and they took off about $40 from what they were asking. Needless to say, I'm very happy with my purchase and I can't wait to start watching these.

I just bought Daizenshuu 2-6 for $18 shipped. They looked to be in pretty good shape and each came complete with OBI. The listing didn't mention the Shenlong Times, but I will inspect when they arrive. I mainly picked them up for the OBI and possibility of Shenlong Times, because I already have 1-7 on my shelf.

Where did you get those Chichi and 18 SCultures? I didn't even know they were out yet. And is it me or does Chichi looks a little too... you know what, forget it. It's probably just me.

Anyway, two of my recent DB purchases. The third Chozenshu book was returned (I have no idea why) and I have to pay for the shipping again to get it back. It's been a real pain.

I wipe it off the tile, the light is brighter this time, everything is 3D blasphemy.
My eyes are red and gold, the hair is standing straight up, this is not the way I picture me.
I can't control my shakes, how the hell did I get here? Something about this, so very wrong.
I have to laugh out loud, I wish I didn't like this. Is it a dream or a memory?

Disgustingly over-priced, but it's coming to my house in a few months and I can't freakin' wait. :D

And of course, the bonus:

The amount I paid for this seals the deal, I can not view the film before I have this DVD in my possession.

This finally turned up

Image

Kept seeing them for upwards of £500. Pretty disgusting prices. Managed to find someone listing it for £100 so I snagged it up before someone else did. The difference in audio quality between these and the US Blu-Rays are unbelievable.
