I never would have thought that Kid Jiren would be so adorable. He almost looks like a Machop with bug eyes. Has Jiren been confirmed to be a bug/Fighting type pokemon?

Anyway, I always loved Jiren's personality, something most people mistakenly see as being nonexistent. Jiren is one with a great stoicism, one with a fascinating degree of mystery and a hint of pride within himself towards his own immense strength. Given what we've seen of him so far, I don't blame him for thinking so highly of himself. How people think Jiren is boring is something that I will simply never understand.

I do agree though that Jiren is in need of a little bit of backstory to flesh out his past more. It looks like we will finally get that in this upcoming episode. It looks like Jiren has been training his whole life just like Goku.

Man a Bruce Wayne Superman combo story will be badass

Well I was thinking that Goku already has the whole Superman backstory going and giving Jiren the tragic orphan backstory would give him a nice foil and justify his Batman like stand-offish and arrogant personality and why he’s so different than the rest of the “Justice League”.

Goku on the other hand gets to have the good natured leader position of his universe like Superman. It would actually make us care about the character and invest in their personal interactions. It would also give context and motivation on why Jiren is so strong when compared to the rest of his universe but why he’s also content to take out regular thugs ala Batman. If handled correctly this could push Jiren into being a genuinely interesting character.
