I'd appreciate not seeing his avatar all the damn time. No offense dude, but you post a bit to much IMO. But as a whole yeah I would miss him, in fact, there are very few members who I wouldn't miss.Sailor Haumea wrote:Don't worry, Lord Beerus, we'd miss you!

In general, users need to change their avatars more often. I mean, like, I get that it's a good avatar, but how can you not get tired of seeing it every stinkin' time you log in?!
No personal gripes with anyone here. I take no issue with users just because they don't change their avatar.

No offense, but why do you care if he posts too much according to you? He can log in and use his account whenever he wants! I for one actually like it, because he takes the time to read other people's posts and legitimately contributes to the discussion.Soppa Saia People wrote:I'd appreciate not seeing his avatar all the damn time. Because people recognize me with my avatar. There are others on here that have a similar username to me, and its possible they may confuse me with someone else.Anime Kitten wrote:In general, users need to change their avatars more often. Nah, you and Bansho are ones I forgot to mention. You're username alone makes you interesting but you also have pretty good posts and profile pictures. Bansho because we can get into a full blown argument and not have any distaste afterwards.Soppa Saia People wrote:I've always felt like my place on Kanzenshuu is the same IRL. Just kinda there.

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

Rocketman is memorable to me because...
1) We're a couple
2) He's always funny
If he left again, I'd miss him.

It just kinda comes off as spam. Most of his posts are fine and dandy, but there that I just say "cmon man, was that really necessary to post ?", hell that's one of the rules that your posts should actual mean something. But as I said, the majority are fine, but there are a few that can be a bit iffy, but that's bound to happen for anyone who is fairly active.omaro34 wrote:No offense, but why do you care if he posts too much according to you? Re: Non-thread-worthy discussions
For what it's worth, there have been tons of thread I've come across where I thought, "Hmm. Looks interesting.", then I go into the thread and I realise that there either isn't much for me to say or I wasn't really that much interested in the thread as I thought I would be. Sorry, if it comes as spamming, I just always seem to have something on my mind to say or contribute in some way.Soppa Saia People wrote:It just kinda comes off as spam. Personally, I prefer when users doesn't change their avatar often. It makes them easier to recognize and after a while you would grew to it that it would feel weird seeing them with a new one.Anime Kitten wrote:In general, users need to change their avatars more often. No personal gripes with anyone here. I take no issue with users just because they don't change their avatar.
I always remember Lord Beerus and dbzfan7 the most as the guys with buttloads of rotating avatars, Soppa Saiya People as the guy with Ultimate Gohan smoking a blunt, omaro34 as the one with SS4 Goku doing a Kamehameha, and Polyphase Avatron with the Dr. Who avatars.
I've been thinking of settling with an avatar lately, but I can't decide which one.

Oh, yeah, those were the days. I had like up to 50 avatars at one stage in rotation. It was like an addiction. But I settled down eventually with one avatar and I'm sticking that way for the foreseeable future. Never going back to that bad habit of having tons of different avatars.Khin wrote:Personally, I prefer when users doesn't change their avatar often. Re: Non-thread-worthy discussions
He used to snag like every single Beerus-related avatar in the avatars thread and add it in his own rotation, the one with chibi Beerus eating, and the one doing a cute pose, along with some from episode three of Super are probably my favorites. Although it came to a point where some people are complaining about snagging new good avatars and adding it in your own rotation, as it basically leaves none for new members. Right now, phpBB no longer allows SignAvatar links so only a few have rotating avatars, and those people still have them only because they haven't changed their link since the phpBB implementation.PelicanDynasty wrote:Haha, I guess I'm too new here, but damn how could Lord Beerus have anything besides that Beerus photo! Herms wrote:The fact that the ridiculous power inflation is presented so earnestly makes me just roll my eyes and snicker. Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.
