Well, I understand why the anime version is so shitty now. Toriyama just doesn't really care about DB or what happens with it. He only really cared when writing BoG.

It's so sad that the colours are actually really awesome. If SSGod didn't exist, I would have loved the form. Also, don't kill me for this, but Goku's base hair looks way better than the design that Toei has done, at least in silver. I will miss Omen trough. I hope Toyotaro just makes the form a silver-haired base Goku.

If he didn't care, he would have nothing to do with Dragon Ball like he has been doing for decades before DBE. He even outright said he cares in the 30th Anniversary book where he 'complained' about the Super anime.

No, he cared about the quality of the anime, that didn't mean writing since those were his scripts. he meant animation quality.


But we know the Future trunks was not an idea he came up with himself. He gives vague outlines. Designs that even in his laziest days would shatter and he is incredbly laxed with the anime and i know that because there has never been one interview were Toriyama has said no to them.



He simply does not care. Even if he doesn't say it, you can tell by his actions. Unless you truly believe he is trying.

He only said the Future Trunks Saga came from a suggest and we don't even know what the hell the suggesting was.

He does care, otherwise he would have never came back to Dragon Ball to begin with. This isn't rocket science.

In just the 3 years Super has been airing, Goku has discovered FOUR new transformations. You can't make this shit up.

It's time for Goku and Vegeta to be retired, I cannot stand their constant new Saiyan forms that come out of nowhere.

And in one story arc that barely lasted a year in Z we got four new Super Saiyan forms.

To be fair, the grade forms are just the user making their muscles bigger like what Roshi, Freeza and Cell did so they weren't "new". Even Ssj2 at the time wasn't new, it was just Gohan's full power.

Maybe one of the reasons DBS is ending is because they're running out of colors for new transformations .

Perhaps they can't rehash DBZ anymore.

Battle of Gods Saga : Two aliens coming to earth and one of them wanting to destroy it and fight Goku? Seen in Saiyan Saga

Revival of F Saga : Freeza having two henchmen (one who is tall and other one is short) and Goku obtaining a transformation? Seen in Freeza Saga.

Zamasu Saga : Trunks is escaping from a devastated future from a big threat and then such threat appears in the present and fuses with another being to become the ultimate lifeform. Where do I have seen this before? Oh yeah, Cell Saga! Although the fusion wasn't seen there, I think absorbing counts.

About ToP Saga, I can't comment anything because I haven't noticed any "homages" to Z.

That is some paper thin comparisons. Especially just calling Beerus and Whis aliens.

And the only thing the Future Trunks Saga shares with the Cell Saga is time travel since Goku and Vegeta never went to Trunks' timeline, they weren't trying to 'save the present', and there was no real threat in the present.

Toriyama isn't writing the manga so why are you blaming him for Toyo? Especially since he approves both the scripts for the anime and manga. And it isn't 'filler' since that is Freeza's motive in the anime, doesn't matter what he's doing in the manga.

I like GT too, but GT is divided right down the middle. Some people hate it, some people like it.

This is another reaosn I like the manga more because aside from the structure and fights, it doesn't do this none sense teasing that never goes anywhere.

Thats why the manga will never beat the likes of Boku Hero Academia. It lacks the flashy/memorable moments.

Toriyama isn't writing the manga so why are you blaming him for Toyo? Especially since he approves both the scripts for the anime and manga. And it isn't 'filler' since that is Freeza's motive in the anime, doesn't matter what he's doing in the manga.

Right. The Manga is always gonna be condensed version some plot points are not gonna make it through besides since the last interview when we found out Toyo added a lot of stuff so now we don't know what is in the outline or not.

Besides the outline is not source material why are people still so fixated on the damn thing is beyond me.

Although the new form being another recolor seems lazy and probably is but think of it this way, a new form for Goku means Vegeta will eventually get it and when that happens he'll get main screentime so it's a win-win situation, they sell merchandise and we get our Vegeta screentime and...I gues this just applies to Vegeta fans.

Thank god he's not green or we'd be in trouble.

That's very subjective as what you don't think is memorable doesn't mean others won't as well. I think Vegeta using SsjG and Goku's final fight with Zamasu were very memorable and what put it above the anime's version for me as the final wasn't rushed and felt like a final.

I know right. People thought the Hit mini-arc in the Anime was filler because it wasn't in Manga/The Outline, and yet it was referenced later on. Some people believe that everything that's not in the outline doesn't matter to the actual series, which is hilarious to think.
