Oh wow, I totally forgot about the whole "cool Vegeta moment" that Toshio said  Well, there clearly wasn't any at all.

As a fellow Vegeta fan, i understand their rage. This episode really dragged on in the Vegeta half. Its just a rehash. Vegeta thinking of others, trying to do everything, losing and acknowledging that he couldnt keep his promise. Just a different take on Kid Buu ending. The Goku half was much better.

If this is Toshio's "Cool Vegeta episode", i'd have preferred Vegeta to truly kill himself taking down Hakaishin Toppo. That would have made much more sense, and would have been more impactful. They really dragged him down, unlike 17 who got a perfect sendoff
Finally, a Vegeta fan who agrees with me. People just repeat "Vegeta fans are never satisfied"without correctly interpreting what these fans are saying. This episode was just ridiculous for Vegeta. He was beaten, did nothing against Jiren and all the flashbacks failed to motivate him as well as happened against Toppo
"Vegeta fans are never satisfied"

Because you guys fucking aren't and its the straw that has made me realize how bad this fandom really is and they truly do deserve the inconsistent quality of this show.

What the hell did you expect him to do here? After everything they gave him and ruined and pandered to you.

But honestly, I refuse to blame any of you. I blame the show for bringing these characters to the forefront. This arc should have just been an 8 man battle royale with Goku since he started it and is the one who actually wanted to be here.

What did they give him? Goku gets things after things after things and Vegeta gets beggar money. One Transformation they gave him only to explain the elimination for GoD Toppo. And this episode after being called a "Cool episode" by the writer himself for months just sucked badly. And people like you are defending it.

Dumb Goku fans like you should just go. Pathetic.

People are more upset because they felt the show promise them more than what they got.
The show didn't promised anything with Vegeta. All we got is one writer saying 'he wrote a cool Vegeta moment'. Cool being subjective.

Because he has a fucking objective. Goku is the one who started this whole thing. In fact Goku is the one who starts everything including Vegeta's development as a character.

Lets be real here, lets be fucking honest here. Vegeta shouldn't even be fighting as much as he has throughtout He should be what Gohan and Krillin are. Thats what GT gave him and you know what it made sense but it was boring but it still made sense.

So Toei and Tori decide to let him fight now and it never fucking please you because you think Vegeta deserves the win when he has never fixed a problem he hasn't caused. By all means, they can have Vegeta be a family man

You know what to know why Goku gets things because he actually wants them and works for them and eats dirt for them and Vegeta gets all of the shit Goku gets offscreen probably with much less effort.

Goku seeks to be stronger for the sake of it and that simplicity allows his character to always have stories be around him and thanks to his saiyan genes he can keep going further. He will abandon his family and risk the world to get that. If Vegeta did any of that, it be character regression.

Vegeta literally has to go backward to be as relevant as Goku because his development is about going against his saiyan genes.

It didn't have to, they felt that it did by keeping him around this long.

You refused to acknowledge that Toei straight up lies through Visuals or dialogue that will go nowhere and only anger who wouldn't have even cared in the first place.

How is that the show's fault, especially when it promised nothing? And Toei didn't lie about Vegeta. Unless you think Vegeta saying that he will mastered UI before Goku was the lie, which is just silly.

I was being very sarcastic as Vegeta clearly got an amazing showing from start to end.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

Name a single period of time, that lasted longer than a day in which Vegeta did something other than training, fighting, space traveling to a battlefield or recovering serious injury from a fight or training, except for a couple of days when he waited for the birth of Bulla. This complaint would be valid if Gohan kept closing the gap, oh wait.

While you're at it, you might also want to name a single Saga since the Saiyan arc, that did not involve Vegeta going all out in his fights until the (always) bitter end, just so we can make a proper dirt eating comparison. Seriously, if you were to device a writing-generosity-index, that goes something like (power_growth_index)/(training_intensity_index*dirt_eating_index), you'd realize that your argument here is baseless to the point of ludicrous.

The writing does favor Goku and every Vegeta fan that does not rage three out of four weeks has come to terms with that but please do not pretend that this is grounded in anything other than "We favor Goku because we favor Goku."

Doctor. wrote:Okay, I'm completely convinced the staff doesn't communicate at all considering Beerus' reaction to UI was exactly the same as when Goku went UI against Kefla.

And it seems like they nerfed Jiren hard, as if it wasn't obvious already.
The episode that Goku went UI against Kelfa and Beerus had the same reaction was written by the same person who wrote this episode. So the writer didn't communicate with themselves?

And how is Jiren nerf when he's fighting a stronger UI and actually pushed Goku back in the NEP?

Next series both Goku/Vegeta need to be retired permanently to mentor positions. Time to focus on Gohan, Trunks, Goten, Pan and Uub.

Why? No one wants to watched a show wit them.

What 'vast majority'. The only people I have seen wanting Gohan, Trunks, Goten, Pan and Uub for the 'next series' is you and a few other people with most being indifferent at best. You need to show some proof this this 'vast majority' you speak of.

I don't. I'm not interested in watching somebody walk a path that has already been walked by to other Saiyans and reaching heights that have already been reached. Dragon Ball has popular and well-established primary characters, they need to find new concepts for them, that keep it interesting, not switch characters. This doesn't get more original by seeing different characters unlock other, let alone the same recolors. It would get better by finding a more original way of making them better than fighting. Ultra Instinct is a nice idea, they need to find a good solution for improving on an Ultra Instinct character.

I'm afraid people may be already complaining to Toshio on Twatter about Vegeta's lack of "cool" moments he said he wrote for episode 128.
