I would have to agree with you about the tension that has been well needed in this series. If somehow Black's SSRose form is that strong he somehow manages to escape using the actual time machine back to the current timeline and causes Havoc there but more importantly tries to kill the remaining Kaioshin that would make things very interesting. It would just be hard since Beerus and Whis are still leagues above everyone right now to find a way to get them to not get too involved with the fighting until it is too late. Just some added drama or suspense besides what Trunks is going through. Bring it to the type of tension the warriors had when they fought Freeza on namek that they just looked at each other and thought wtf are we going to do.Draconic wrote:I don't know how to feel about this. On one hand I think having the Kaioshin and the Hakaishin linked is a pretty stupid idea, but on the other hand the fact that Beerus might finally be in somekind of danger after all this time could lead to some tension building up.
Also, it makes sense how Zamasu would take control over Universe 10 so easily, killing Gowasu and whoever might be a Kaioshin there, leading to that Universe's Hakaishin to die and allowing him to control Black unoppossed. However, it's hard to take in that nobody would investigate such a thing. Maybe the Whis-race guy from the next episode was U10 Hakaishin's attendant?
If it's not just something Toyotaro pulled out of his ass, it could lead the story to some very very interesting places, though I think it most likely is just one of his additions.

Aw, okey. Seemed blurred to me in the way that it's the only version of the picture that we have to talk about it, but agreed. Fixed.Grimlock wrote:You shouldn't be posting that full scan...samuo2 wrote:And I think you talk about this image:

There was nothing wrong with the image posted. It was fine for what was intended of it.samuo2 wrote:Aw, okey. Seemed blurred to me in the way that it's the only version of the picture that we have to talk about it, but agreed. Fixed.Grimlock wrote:You shouldn't be posting that full scan...

Is the chapter actually out and nobody has uploaded it online or are there only leaks?
Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
So, Beerus probably gonna died by Goku Black?
Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
Not yet, just a few low-res photo leaks.404FILENOTFOUND wrote:Is the chapter actually out and nobody has uploaded it online or are there only leaks?

Looks like Beerus was asleep when Boo killed the Kaioshins, Whis was going to wake him up but he said that as long as the Kaioshin who was sealed (Elder Kaioshin) is alive, it will be fine.

I'm looking at some more things on the French Website and found this.
Apparently this is going to be shown as a Flashback
Whis : " Oh dear, this is not good at all for Beerus -sama I will do well to wake him but ... It may be particularly angry And after all ... As long as that Kaioshin Beerus ! . -sama had sealed is alive , everything is fine ! Ho Ho Ho ! (laughs) Wow ... Kaioshin Dai -sama is being captured ( absorbed ) by the Majin ... "
Beerus " Mnya Mnya ..."
Kaioshin dying : "Da ... Kaioshin Dai -sama has been ..."
Old Kaioshin seen in the seal.
Interesting

Wait, I thought someone had said Beerus died in Trunks's timeline when the Kaioshin there died? Did that not happen (maybe I misread too)?Khin wrote:Looks like Beerus is asleep when Boo killed the Kaioshins, Whis was going to wake him up but he said that as long as the Kaioshin who was sealed (Elder Kaioshin) is alive, it will be fine.
If Beerus was killed, who let the Old Kaioshin out in the future?
Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
I'm confused about that as well. It was only stated that Kaioshin died while helping Trunks against Dabra, and Beerus also died in the process. But going from what Whis said, Beerus should be fine since Elder Kaioshin is presumably still sealed in the Z-Sword.Analytical Delusion wrote:Wait, I thought someone had said Beerus died in Trunks's timeline when the Kaioshin there died? Yeah. Maybe Trunks trained with the Z Sword (and broke it)? Might have had his potential unlocked, but without Buu being released, no need.Khin wrote:I'm confused about that as well. Maybe the Kaioshin Realm was wiped along with the Z-sword? Glad to be given an explanation, that in Toriyama style works great by coincidence.Analytical Delusion wrote:Wait, I thought someone had said Beerus died in Trunks's timeline when the Kaioshin there died? Hoping for the final nail in the coffin regarding Goku turning SSJ2 and the whole mess it might entail.

Final nail with regards to what? Him not using SSJ2 anymore? Or a power levels thing?
Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
I mean that would make sense. He is a swordsman after all so it works out. If that is the case though then the training would have to take place on earth because how would Dabura and Babidi get to the Kaioshin planet?Analytical Delusion wrote:Yeah. The whole power levels mess. A proper explanation would finish all discussion, at least in regards to the manga.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
But Whis assumed that Future Beerus died just by hearing that Kaioshin was killed. As far as we know, Trunks never said something like the Kaioshin Realm being destroyed.LightBing wrote:Maybe the Kaioshin Realm was wiped along with the Z-sword?
The statement on how Trunks surpassed Gohan back then (Cell Games?) pretty much makes the manga's power scaling completely fine.LightBing wrote:The whole power levels mess. A proper explanation would finish all discussion, at least in regards to the manga.

Can someone reply this: should I avoid reading this thread? Or does this manga cover a part in the anime that's already been covered and just add parts?

Chapter 14 covers Episode 47. Chapter 15 covers Episodes 48 & 49, minus Black's arrival to the future. Any new information are manga-only, unless if they mention them in later parts of the story in the anime.sangofe wrote:Can someone reply this: should I avoid reading this thread? James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

I'm just trying to guess how Old Kaio passed away in the future, he has to be dead for Future Beerus to be dead.Khin wrote:But Whis assumed that Future Beerus died just by hearing that Kaioshin was killed. Didn't know about that line.
You should be fine for the most part. Altought it might happen that the manga introduces concepts before the anime.sangofe wrote:Can someone reply this: should I avoid reading this thread? Or does this manga cover a part in the anime that's already been covered and just add parts?
