I think this screenshot of Gohan taking off his glasses it's more than likely before he turns Super Saiyan to display it to Freeza's minions as they will demand it to see one as Goku and Vegeta are confronting Freeza somewhere else. I would like to think Gohan still has Ultimate/Mystic powers in this movie, but he will show Super Saiyan form for those reasons. It was confirmed in Battle of Gods that Gohan can turn both without a problem, so I really hope he didn't loose his full potential after the last movie.

Super Saiyan 2 and 3 are nothing more than powered-up variations of Super Saiyan. After the fight with Beerus, Goku realized that mastering his normal state and Super Saiyan would raise his level more and sap less strength, so I think he probably won’t become Super Saiyan 2 or 3 any more.

I get that and I am totally fine with it. I just don't like how the piece of dialogue went down. Freeza asking Goku not to become Super Saiyan is ridiculous, that is like a bugler walking into your room and starts bragging he robbed all your stuff and then see's you have a crowbar next to you and begs you not to pick it up.
Next there is Goku's ridiculous comment about Freeza making a good ally if he wasn't so evil. Well, if Freeza wasn't evil then Goku would have been since Planet Vegeta wouldn't have been blown up, also they probably would never have met.

That's not what he said though. He's asking Goku why he isn't using Super Saiyan, not please don't become a Super Saiyan.
Freeza: "In order to get my revenge on you people, I performed what they call 'training' for the first time. This time I'll go at full power right from the start."
Goku: "You would have made a good rival if you hadn't been such a bad guy."
Freeza: "Is it really alright for you to not become Super Saiyan?"
Goku: "Now, I no longer need to."
In fact, it seems he's practically trying to goad him into using it.

Perhaps, begging is a little exaggerated but still it is ridiculous for Freeza to even suggest something like that I am pretty sure he would want to beat Goku at full strength otherwise there would be no point in fighting. Also, it is a really lame thing for a villain to say. But anyway since Goku wasn't gonna go SS anyway , I guess it really doesn't matter.

What are you talking about? Freeza suggests Goku to use SS, he doesn't suggest him not to use it...

I'm pretty anxious to see Goten and Trunks (if they do appear).
Mainly to see if they are older. Freeza mistake Trunks for Future Trunks can easily become a funny scene. If Goten keeps Goku hairstyle, Freeza may even mistake both.

Yeah it's not going to happen for quite a long time since TFS is doing things in terms of timeline mainly. We may not see BoG Abridged for 4yrs. They're still doing androids/Cell and have the Super Android #13 movie to do, and Brolly then Bojack then Brolly again and the Buu saga and Bio-Br-NOPE! Fusion Reborn, Super Saiyan Eradication, yadda yadda yadda. So yeah it's gonna take a good long while. I don't expect BoG to get abridged for at least 5yrs.
