I wonder what Oozaru Vegeta is going to look like? I guess with the budget that they have then Vegeta Oozaru is going be CG and will look something from a movie made by The Asylum.

Kindda looks like DBE from that angle...

Also, I'm guessing it's the Kamehameha Goku shoots at Vegeta that leads to that epic beam struggle.
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

Kamehameha complete with awkward GT hands pose. Lovely. Also, it visually reminds me too much of Evolution.

I can't help but wonder how much of this will be worth the...whatever amount of money that they were given by fans.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Oozaru Vegeta wasn't in the animated version of the trailer. If I remember correctly, that means that we won't see any Oozaru.
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

I don't know why, but that sounds like a recipe for disaster. They'd probably change a bunch of stuff around to "modernize" the formula (since you're picturing a future about 10 years later or more), and then we end up with DBE2.
If anything I think actually, being true DBZ fans, they'd know how important it was to respect the source material. Say what you want about K&K Productions but their love for the show and dedication to it being close to the source material is clear.

The trailer is premiering on December 4 in only 7 days. This Friday I'm going to be interviewing K&K Productions in a follow up interview to our original.

I'm also running a cross promotional contest with them to give away 3 copies of the It's Over 9,000! book to readers around the world.

Do you have any questions for Harry and George?

Specifically what happened with the old costume designer?
Why did they wait until after the first shoot to find a new designer and make a new costume?
What was the biggest lesson they took away from the whole experience?
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

Ask them questions about the copyrights/legality of the matter. They love that. :)

The interview went well and I was able to ask your questions. Thanks for the suggestions.

I'm transcribing the interview now and it will be up in a day or so. Sounds like they had a lot of fun and really grew as a result.

Did you happen to ask them about the fraudulent nature of their "fund"-raising? I'd really like to know what their defense is to blatant misuse of IndieGoGo as a means to fund and advertise copyright-protected material.

Hope you did. Because that's the only question that this project should bring about.

They announced a short delay on their Facebook page:

"The trailer is released today! It was supposed to be 8pm GMT (UK Time) but due to a power outage in our area it will now be released one our later at roughly 9pm GMT (So in three and half hours time). Big apologies for that guys.

The Saiyans are coming!"

It will be up in another hour and a half.
