I see everyone saying this but I still don't understand why it's so aggravating.

It's not that it's hard, I can do the combos no problem but if I only have .02 seconds to phase behind Goku to counter only for him to dodge me, that is infuriating

I know this sounds cheap, but once you get the hang of it it get's quite easy. The most difficult part is the Dragon Dash Stamina Break Combo within the complete combo itself.
I somehow managed to learn how to do it, so everybody should be able too. I can't be a genius to pull it off. Knock him away, dash after him and if you do the stamina break tilt the stick directly toward him (not forward but the actual way he is when you arrive at the other side). I know it's hard at first, but keep going. (in the end the hardest part for me was to fire the Ultimate Attack because I was so relieved from actually hitting Gokuu that I almost always messed it up)

An easy way of doing it is stamina breaking your practice dummy before performing the combo. If you time it right it's a lot easier than doing it the normal way. That's how I beat it, saved me a few hours...

I can't finish the training quests because no matter the mentor, NONE FO THE INSTRUCTORS CAN DEMONSTRATE THE COMBOS! There's got to be a problem when even the A.I can't learn the controls...

Guys, I know how to unlock it, I just wanted to know how long it takes. With the other races I just had to beat the story up to Dodoria and reach the early 30's.
Now here I am, Freeza race at the mid 50's with my story progression up to the end of the Cell saga and I've only made it up to Ginyu's first mission...

That's so odd, I was mid 40's and hadn't even started the Cell arc and I am up to Freeza's missions.

edit: Does anyone have a link to the entire change log of the update? I didn't see anything on PC. Want to see if any of the nerfs effect me (Kaio-ken/Potential Unleashed?)

Guys, I know how to unlock it, I just wanted to know how long it takes. With the other races I just had to beat the story up to Dodoria and reach the early 30's.
Now here I am, Freeza race at the mid 50's with my story progression up to the end of the Cell saga and I've only made it up to Ginyu's first mission...

That's so odd, I was mid 40's and hadn't even started the Cell arc and I am up to Freeza's missions.

I finally got it by beating the story and reaching level 74....
It did not take nearly as long doing those missions with my Saiyan...

Anyone else think 'Kid' Gohan sounds really off in this game? He sounds like Kai Gohan but at the same time he also sounds like he's trying to sound like Nadolny's Gohan.

I cant even get past the first part lmao. I can get to the end but when i do the dash behind him hes so far in front of me i have no time to continue with my attack

Incidentally, can anyone who has unlocked Potential Unleashed confirm: is it unlocked by getting Z ranks on all advancement tests, and nothing else? I've seen some very weird guides for it, including stuff like doing 3 of Elder Kaioshin's missions in particular and whatnot.

You have to beat all the advancement tests, you only need Z ranks up to God as that's the only way to take the Super class test.

The english dub in general sounds off. I only really like Cell's, Cooler's, Broly's and Turles' voice. Those stand out the most.


Black Goku's voice... needs to stop whatever it's trying to be.

Guys I'm having issues with the Expert Missions. It always bugs for me. Like the boss literally vanishes and I can't attack him anymore.

Also, it's been a long time since the last time I log into the multiplayer lobby. Are these happening to someone else?

So I've finally gotten the platinum trophy for XV2 and man what a pain that was... The good thing is now that it's over and I can just sit back, relax & play the hell outta PvP.

And here I am feeling accomplished for getting Potential Unleashed today. Getting that Z rank on Advancement Quest 5 was a total pain.

I find if I'm transformed and make my final attack an Ultimate, I will always Z-Rank a mission. So it's made Z-Ranks real easy.

Still no sign of the senzu bean mixing item that apparently exists that's not the 400 zeni one.

I did a sort of checklist for getting Z ranks: do a 20 hit combo, kill everyone with an Ultimate, use a transformation and have high health. Gotenks was the biggest obstacle to keeping my health up, so I bought better healing items.

I'm not sure if I was meant to kill every character with an Ultimate or just finish it that way, if it is the second than I wasted a lot of effort xD

How did you go about unlocking the transformations for each race? I created a second character, and it just started the game from the beginning...

Also, I redeemed my pre-order bonus, but have not been able to play as Black or change my vehicle... not sure what the deal is with that.
