Perhaps this "another saiyan" thing is referring to goku becoming ssj god and attaining another level of ssj?

Is that above a Super Saiyan 4? Would they have to redesign GT? Or is it like the other DBZ movies where they're not in line with the story?

This movie is completely ignoring GT because "GT isn't a part of the original work", and this movie is a part of the official history of Dragon Ball. So no, it's not like the other movies.

You misunderstand the scriptwritter's words. He said the movie was placed near the end of the manga series, and after all, GT isn't part of the original story (the manga). That's all he said, not that he was ignoring GT and that it's not canon. Really, you're spreading false rumors.

That big panning shot where Goku's on the ground and everyone's around him; that is interesting.

I think Vegeta is the only one missing in that shot

Also, Goku's gi is in the same damaged condition in the panning shot as it is in that shot above Earth that they used as one of the site's backgrounds.
I still feel like a lot of puzzle pieces are missing.

I guess it would be hard to tell the difference beetween a Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan 2 in this movie, so I guess we should pass that with Vegeta or Gohan. But Gotenks not being a Super Saiyan 3 is weird...

I mean its just that seeing Gotenks getting spanked like that you would think he would go higher to SSJ3.

Same with Vegeta he shouldnt be holding back and should be a SSJ2.
