Not exactly a purchase, but I finally got around to filling the holes I have in my Daizenshuu EX/Kanzenshuu podcast library.

It's scary to think how long it'd take to listen to them all in a row.

I dont think I've seen box 2 for $200 in a while! Was it a buy it now?
It was Buy It Now for $300 but there was also a Best Offer option and he was nice enough to take $200.

I'd say it was a pretty lucky grab :D Seeing the other Dboxes going up gets me worried and wanting to keep my set as good as new as possible!

Dragon Ball Z Battle of Gods Hong Kong version
Dragon Ball SD Volume 1
Dragon Ball Z Movie Collection 1 and 2 from the USA.

And my mum wants to get me movie collection 3 for Christmas just because she's the kind of person who hates not getting someone a cool Christmas present no matter what, even though I don't want anything. :D This'll be the first time I owned every single Dragon Ball movie since I already have the single for DB Movie 1 and the 3 pack DB boxset from before Funi had Movie 1.

Put in an Amazon-order for a second-hand copy of the Dragon Box for the first series yesterday. Interestingly enough, the page says that they have some new copies in stock as well, which seems a bit absurd to me after all this time, but then I guess there will always be fans who buy stuff like this and keep it unopened just for the sake of collectors' value... That said I didn't feel up for paying 130 thousand yen for it, so I instead went for the second-hand one that was going for 1/5, was from a seller that seems to be reliable judging by the ratings he's gotten, and was listed as being in good condition. So, assuming I didn't just get ripped off big-time, my Dragon Ball DVD-collection should be complete in just a few days!!
...Though I might also pick up the Blue and Green bricks at some point. Just to have a subtitled version should I ever feel like checking up on some hard-to-hear line.

Oh, and I just remembered...

I'm pretty sure it's literally the same item. Just that the colors on mine seem to be slightly faded. Note how his shirt and shoes and all that also seem a bit paler than the ones on yours. I dunno, maybe it's just been standing in direct sunlight for too long.

Yeah! It's from http://theyetee.com/ apparently artists submit their work and during a limited time window the shirts are printed but they will do reprints of some special orders, there is usually a pretty cool dragon ball shirt on the cite so if you cannot get this one I am sure they can do a special print or another bad ass one will show up. I've seen one where it was like a red bull ad but had Ozarus and said "Senzu energy bean"

Seeing as I'm a huge Game of Thrones fan as well as a DBZ fan, my friend got me this at a recent convention he went to.

I have that shirt, but I got it from TeeFury back in August 2011. It's one of my favorite shirts.

If you need a cereal fortified with Senzu Beans, then what the hell type of workout are you doing?

Is that the OSV or the arranged soundtrack?

Oh boy, I actually did it. I needed both physical samples and video/audio quality samples of the Pioneer DVDs for a project I'm working on, so I bought this set. Assuming it was actually something I desired, it was a good value. The video quality is worse than I even thought was possible for DVD.
A YouTube channel with no AMVs on it? I know, it's hard to believe.

This is an arranged soundtrack for the Nintendo Super Famicom video game Dragon Ball Z: Super Butōden 2. Nearly all early Dragon Ball game soundtracks are arranged.

Read more about it here: http://www.kanzenshuu.com/music/Video%2 ... undtracks/

I so did not get ripped off big-time. Quite the contrary, this turned out to be such an investment that I almost can't properly describe it...

(The Tenkaichi Budokai figurine set came with it too... But I didn't feel like assembling that so here's some pics of just the box.)
This thing isn't just in "good" condition... It actually seems like it's never even been taken out of the box. I just got a Dragon Box in mint condition for only a quarter of the retail price! And now I have the entire Dragon Ball TV-series! :D (<- Emoticon that utterly fails to convey the awesomeness of this fact.)

Why do a breakfast cereal pun ending in "O's" using a word that ends in 'a'? Surely, in a Dragonball context, something like "PiccolO's" makes more sense? The Shenron association would also be a little more apt.

Cool design, though.
