Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
The link provided is not an actual/primary source. If someone can track something worthwhile down, of course we'll take a look at it. Otherwise, the magazine is due out on the 21st, and of course photos/scans tend to leak out a couple days ahead of that.

From what I'm reading, the more likely answer is that "Vados" (ヴァドス) is from the apple brandy "Calvados" (カルヴァドス). How correct that is, I don't know, but it seems to fit in better with "beer" and "whisky".Sodhi wrote:Vados is a pun on coffee.SSJGBGoku wrote:So apparently (Acc. to the FB translation) , FemWhis name is :

For all we know, this could well be silly fan-fiction from 2ch, but most of those leaks have been correct in the past. Just need our resident translators to hop in with their wisdom!

Damn, I was expecting a pun of Tequila. But anything is fine, if goes with the flow.
I'm just glad she's not called Whis too.

A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

Champa wants to take Universe 7'S EARTH away and have it replaced Universe 6's Earth. To determine this they will do a "God Selection Fighting Tournament", so Intergalactic Budokai Seems legit.
Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
I've always wanted another tournament but hopefully it won't be limited t the 2 universes.Sodhi wrote:Champa wants to take Universe 7'S EARTH away and have it replaced Universe 6's Earth. To determine this they will do a "God Selection Fighting Tournament", so Intergalactic Budokai Seems legit.
I can't wait to see the amount of fighters and new characters that will show up.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.
Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
Apparently, Champa is Beerus's twin and same with Vadosu and Whis.
Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
Ehhh... not feeling this. Hopefully it's fake.
Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
Are they actual twins or just their U6 counterparts? Because Whis says U6 is a twin universe to U7.Sodhi wrote:Apparently, Champa is Beerus's twin and same with Vadosu and Whis.
If this is real, i bet the tournament will be a short lived one. Champa is clearly plotting something, maybe "close" U6 with all fighters there. He wouldn't simply come up with a fair tournament after his shady actions.
Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
Goku asks "Are you a Fat Beerus?" and Vadosu goes "excuse me this is Beerus twin brother Champa". It is also implied that Whis and Vadosu are twins too.Araki wrote:Are they actual twins or just their U6 counterparts? Yeah, but the explanation about the twin universe comes later, so i am wondering if that's what they meant.

Doesn't mean they skip freeza arc. They had that ability even before they met freeza.Sodhi wrote:Chapter stars with Goku vs. Vegeta in Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan in Beerus planet. So they completely skipped the ROF arc.sintzu wrote:Does it mention anything about the F arc ?SSJGBGoku wrote:So apparently (Acc. to the FB translation) , FemWhis name is :

Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
It's obvious they're gonna skip the F arc in the manga, since the anime is doing the F arc and they wouldn't skip something so important as a tournament between the two arcs.
Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
So is Champa from Universe 6? It sounds like it, but if he's Beerus' twin brother then wouldn't he be from Universe 7? Unless it means twins as in Champa is Beerus' Universe 6 counterpart.
Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
It could be true for Whis and Vadosu. However for Champa and beerus she used the word "Brother" so for these two at least, looks like they indeed are brothers.Araki wrote:Goku asks "Are you a Fat Beerus?" and Vadosu goes "excuse me this is Beerus twin brother Champa". Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
Manga refers to the Return of Freeza as a past event. It says in the chapter, "Goku and Vegeta Surpassed Super Saiyajin goddo" to beat Golden Freeza. So that pretty much seals the fact that they skipped the ROF arc entirely from the manga.Pannaliciour wrote:Doesn't mean they skip freeza arc. It's a shame they didn't bring up how he was defeated.Sodhi wrote:Manga refers to the Return of Freeza as a past event. It says in the chapter, "Goku and Vegeta Surpassed Super Saiyajin goddo" to beat Golden Freeza.
How do you think the Super dragon balls will fit into this tournament ?

Why? We know how he was defeated.sintzu wrote:It's a shame they didn't bring up how he was defeated.
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

Champa challenges Beerus to a battle: five U7 warriors vs five U6 warriors. If Champa wins, he gets U7's Earth (and its food).

Do Beerus & co count?Sodhi wrote:Champa challenges Beerus to a battle: five U7 warriors vs five U6 warriors. If Champa wins, he gets U7's Earth (and its food).

I imagine it's Goku, Vegeta, Mr. Boo, Gohan and Piccolo.
Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
I would think Beerus and Champa would participate. It's doubtful Whis and Vados would though.
