Nah, I'm just waiting for Kanzenshuu to go crazy when they release a trailer.

But we had a Xenoverse footage at Sony's E3 last year, right?

Xenoverse was released well before E3 last year. There was some footage and a trailer at the 2014 conference, but I'm almost certain it was all separate from the Sony and Microsoft stuff.

If there will be any news on the game today it's not gonna be for a while now.

Maybe we should wait until e3 actually starts, which is tomorrow.
Dragon Ball /Z/GT/Super is a children's show and there's nothing wrong with that.

Nice catch.

Can't wait. Hopefully it won't consist of the same fluff we got in the trailer and be just cutscene. I want actually gameplay, to see if the combat mechanics has truly evolved or developed.

Because of DB games history, I am expecting big improvements to combat but am I the only one on this forum that appreciates XV1's combat??

If the hitstun didn't suck and balance was a little better, than yeah it would be great. Don't get me wrong. I enjoy the combat system. Just had a tad too many problems is all.

I hope we get another lucky sequel like we did with Budokai 3. Budokai 1 and 2 were really nothing to write home about, but 3, damn that was a step up. Hopefully Xenoverse 2 can be as much a step up as Budokai 3 was to it's predecessors. I hope it's not a Budokai 1 to 2 level difference, cause that wasn't that much.

XV2 isn't even out and you're already going on about a sequel? :/

Well when I replayed the Budokai games last year I found the first one to be superior overall. The graphics took a huge hit with the second one.

I think the actual fighting was a bit better though because it was faster paced.

I think you missed my point entirely. My point is about how much I hope Xenoverse 2 is as big an improvement on the first game, as Budokai 3 was to Budokai 2. The development cycle of the Budokai games was not too big. About the same as Xenoverse 2 is getting. Normally that would worry me, but if they can raise the bar like Budokai 3 did from 2, then Xenoverse 2 should be pretty awesome. However I feel it might only slightly improve things, making the quality sequel comparison more Budokai 2 from Budokai.

Eh they appeared to be 2 different styles. I don't think one was particularly better than the other. I found 2's gameplay slightly better, but not a whole lot overall. It added a few things, but didn't really break into something that was worth coming back to. Also while I do enjoy the board game, it's not really as good as Budokai's cutscenes.

I still wonder how much better Xenoverse 2 will be to the first game. A budokai 2 upgrade which isn't really much. Or a budokai 3 like upgrade where the game actually becomes pretty good, and worth it to people who aren't fans of the series.
