I'm going by IF Vegetoo could beat Beers. I'm not saying he could but I'm saying IF! To be honest I think dbz writers(counting Akira to be honest) are not super smart and don't want something done to easily. Sure they could just get some potaras and then ask Boo or Shenron to make them separated again but that would be boring and just WAAAAAAAAY to easy. That's like GOku coming to Namek and as soon as he gets there he use the Genki Dami on Freeza and then taking out the Ginyu Force. Or Raditz flying when Goku had him in the masterlock. Or Goku using the Genki Dami as soon as he arrives on Earth which kills Nappa and perhaps Vegeta or badly weakens him.

People get this confused a lot about dbz. They just don't take the easy way out. Bulma tried but Goku,Vegeta, and even Piccolo bashed her for it.

And I just remembered, the summary said Vegeta just gave up and was willing to let Beers destroy the Earth. Why would he just give up and accept his fate when he knows he can just find Kakarot and fuse into Vegetto and ass-stomp Beers?

How is Vegetto out of universe? Is Vegetto not a canon character and a part of the series anymore?

In-Universe answer example : Maybe because Raditz was too weak and couldn't fly, or Goku got one of those I'm about to die power boosts that real life humans get.
Out of Universe answer example : Because the writers are stupid, because plot.

Goku could blitz the other's even without Kaio-Ken though. Recoome was the toughest of those three, durability wise, and Goku OHKO'd him. He could have done the same to Jeice and Burter, but he had to show off. Then he could have sensed Ginyu, then used Kaio-Ken, and then move on to Freeza. Freeza wouldn't have sensed him killing Ginyu, since he was occupied with Nail, so Goku could have surprised attacked him with the Kaio-Ken x10, and ended it right there. Then they could have wished everyone back and lived happily ever after. Until the Androids killed everyone

And there wouldn't have been a Piccolo around this time since they brought him back only after Goku was injured.
