Trunks, now the sole survivor of two apocalyptic fights, goes frogspawn-chewing nutters and laughs until the Bojack gang is thoroughly creeped out and leaves.
Looks like your prediction about Vegeta killing Bido maybe right.

Y'know, maybe, that one page that showed the heroes to be dead - maybe that was a quick look into the near future, like "this is what's about to happen" and then they went on and started showing *how* it happened.

... I don't know.
Usually goes by "Kevtrev" elsewhere online.
Draws comics that may or may not have been blatantly inspired by Akira Toriyama's manga.

I'm actually morbidly interested in this just for the comedic awkwardness of the art (which I'm sure is intentional), which I began to like but am now turning away from.

But I'm not entirely sure that Vegeta would kill Bido with the Final Flash. Bido may just tank it like he did Piccolo's Gekiretsu Kodan, then proceed to kill Vegeta.

Story-wise, this is a really embarassing situation. After all the trouble to defeat the androids and save the future, everyone dies and everything is lost because of some space monsters who decided to visit Earth one day. :|

I hope Trunks survives.

What in the name of fuck is this shit? Why do they let such terrible art pass?
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

In other news, the first page (not the cover) of the upcoming normal chapter (you know, the actual DBM), is great.

I think that it's intentionally drawn this way for comedic effect. Because I don't think that they'd look at Vegeta in the last panel and honestly say, "That looks like Vegeta".

No way in hell Bido tanks an attack that nearly obliterated Perfect Cell. It's bad enough they had him tank Piccolo's shot.

Storywise or artwise?

Thinking about that, I hope Cold wins. He didn't really do anything in Z except for getting his ass kicked by Trunks. Maybe he has more techniques. I would love too see if he could transform like Freeza and Cooler could.

I'm torn. On one hand, Universe 8 needs more members to advance and Cold is a great one since we didn't see much of him. But on the other hand, this Videl is interesting in her own right and I'd like to see more of her. But U9 already has a couple participants for round 2.

Either way, I hope that the losers don't just vanish. One thing I want to see more from DBM, which I hope we get after the preliminaries, is actual inter-universe interaction, characters getting to know each other and building relationships. We saw a taste of it early on but lately it's just been fight, fight, fight...

Depends on how strong you think Bido is. With Bujin and Zangya, they managed to give Super Saiyan Gohan some trouble and were able to defeat Super Saiyan Trunks. Although that could've just been the paralysis. But Bido tanked Piccolo's Gekiretsu Kodan, and I believe that he's stronger than the Super Vegeta that fought Perfect Cell, since he held his own against a Cell Junior. But whatever.

Yeah, for some reason I always placed the cronies vaguely at Cell Jr. levels, give or take, with Bojack somewhere around Super Perfect Cell level. Based on that, I would imagine anybody around that level without regeneration would not be able to survive a head on Final Flash.

Yeah I hope Cold at least puts up a fight. Or maybe the page is universe interaction/main villain hint.

Dat English!

Good lord, is there anybody who can act as an English editor? Just somebody to go over the text and make basic syntax corrections. Hell, I'll do it myself. This page is pretty much Babelfished.

Dear god, that art. No, it's not just "being different from Toriyama," but being genuinely bad. Vegeta looks like he's turning into a werewolf or something.
