Flashing hits doesn't bother me. To me, it actually adds emphasis and impact to the hit, making it more violent and counterproductive.

I think that "don't want it to be imitated" excuse is full of crap, too, you can fully see how they do each punch. Cutting out a few frames of them actually being hit doesn't do jack to make it less imitable. Either they really do it to make it less brutal, or they're doing a pretty lousy job at trying not to allow kids to imitate it. :P

Flash hits are better than no hits.

Like when they cut out Great Ape Vegeta crushing Gokuh's legs? I was seriously confused because Gokuh was grabbing his head and screaming for no reason. >_>

I have a theory on how Nicktoons will handle Android 16 getting stomped. It'll show Cell's foot about to crush him, cut out the part where he's doing it, skip to the chips flying but obviously edit out the 'blood'. Thoughts?

Actually, I think they might either cut it entirely, or reuse the footage of Cell kicking his head away.

Naw, they'll probably do exactly what Metroid said. It's Editing out the blood wouldn't be that hard, it's exactly what the Toonami version had.

I'll go with Cell's foot ON his head then cut away to the chip landing on the ground but keeping a stomp sound.

Actually, never mind. I was somehow thinking of Toonzai's editing. (and I do think that's what they'll do)

Yeah, I'll go with MetroidJunkie's prediction.

I'd say their best bet would be to use the crushing sound in Gohan's reaction so it's happening off screen.

Aaand they kept Instant Transmission. :\ Along with Android. Don't mind the second part, but I just hate that translation of Instantaneous Movement for some reason.

Android I can live with. Instant Transmission... sigh, I guess it's not toooooo wrong, but I'll say the same thing I said about it ten years ago: it sounds like a feature on a magic car.

"Instant Transmission" is very wrong. You don't transmit people.

Instantanious movement to me just sounds like he started moving fast all at once. Instant transmission sounds like he was in a new place instantly.

Instantaneous Movement is "moving from one place to another instantaneously." That is teleportation. A transmission is an electronic, digital, or radio signal being sent. People aren't any of those things.

I know it may be unlikely, but what if "Instant Transmission" is another dub term used only in the TV versions? Maybe they'll use "Instant Movement", or "Shunkan Ido" in the uncut dub.

If they start using "Hyperbolic Time Chamber" in the NickToons version, I hope the same.
