I'd like to see this new Frieza type person.

We SERIOUSLY need some new characters. Toriyama...or whoever does those things now, need some back stories or post Z stories for us to have new badies.

Not to be a buzz kill, but why are we getting excited over Oozarus? I mean I get that they weren't in the Raging Blast games but it's not like it's something new. I hate when companies do this; take something away and then bring it back as if we are supposed to celebrate.
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

Maybe it's because they're actually giant as opposed to being the size of two Brolys.

Exactly. Those are on the scale of Baby Vegeta from Final Bout instead of just a ridiculously small scale from the show.

Looks like the Oozaru fights are mini~game type deals.

Okay two things I noticed-

1. Quick Time Events seem to be in like I guessed earlier.

2. Did you see the SIZE of that crater on the bottom left? It looks gigantic!!

So I guess that would mean, you are only able to fight them in story mode? effectively making them unplayable? Or perhaps they'll include a mini game as a seperate kind of mode. I could imagine it working as training before you face the real deal in story mode.

I think I can cope with that, although I would like to at least have the opportunity to try and see, if playing with those giant characters actually is enjoyable.

But who knows, what they'll do.

Very top left of the scan....is that when Goku had broken legs and shot Vegeta in the eye right before he was about to get finger poked?

It seems Goku's costume has not been changed... I hate the cell era costume! Get a good story, miss out on key details. That's how DBZ games go.
My favourite art style (and animation) outside Toriyama who worked on Dragon Ball: Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru, Masaki Satō, Minoru Maeda, Takeo Ide, Hisashi Eguchi, Katsumi Aoshima, Tomekichi Takeuchi, Masahiro Shimanuki, Kazuya Hisada

Miss out minor details that don't even matter, you mean?

Every little detail counts. Lets say you play a shooter game okay? You want the guns to work and look how they actually are in real life. You want nice costumes and backgrounds. Lets say in this game, because detail doesn't count, he'll be wearing a green camouflage in the desert. That matters.

Goku wearing, and looking how he does in Dragonball during that time is very important. It's a SIM game! It's only on Dragonball. It's going over the key events; it has to be correct! Leaving it out makes as much sense as making a WW2 game with modern weapons! You want to see the soldiers in their correspondent uniforms during each battle right?

This is my point, and now I see Goku like this, I am not amused!

Those things are nowhere near comparable. If his camouflage is slightly wrong it would be tantamount to this. Either your post is a joke or you enjoy hyperbole too much.

I enjoy hyperbole's a lot! But I think it is just as important!

Eh, it could go either way. It's not exactly worth complaining about though.

I agree it's not to complain about, but I wanted to point out, many Dragonball games like to miss out on key details. If it has a good story then I'm okay with that, but I'd prefer if they also focus on small details too. Video games are a form of "art", I guess, and missing out on one thing, no matter how small, it's important.

The main thing is the game, as long as they get it right I'll be happy.

Though I still think if a game is to go over the certain eras, the developer should try to make it as perfect as possible. That what makes it a good game.

I can understand Attitudefan very well. To one it might be no issue to even begin thinking to complain about, but when taking a look at what they did with the costumes in the last two installments then it is totally valid to complain. Hell they only recolored the costumes and Goku had trillion costumes that look the same. It's not even funny anymore. How hard can it be to implement the true costumes from the anime?!

It's not hard. It's a palette swap. One of the easiest things to do is re texture a model. Hell, someone who has no experience can do that!

The game is only focused on DBZ, so they have to do all of it right or you'll just get another half-assed game! You know, I put up with that for too long.

PS. they seem to be reusing models from before, so retexturing is extremely easy. They don't have to recreate the models from scratch so there LOTS time to make more costumes. -_-" It's ridiculous!

like I said before, you wouldn't play a WW2 game with the wrong uniforms for the different battle, even if the look doesn't change much. Snow gear to beach gear for example. Different helmet styles as time goes on etc. and the player wouldn't even notice these changes to army uniform yet in a Dragonball game we definitely do! The whole point is to get it right, to simulate the story right, like in a WW2 game. Simulate the battles to how it went down, all details intact.
