Official On-Going DBZ 2013 Movie Thread: "Battle of Gods"

That's over simplifying it. He draws four or five different eye types. Yamcha first off had the tenshinhan eyes. Those are the oval (oriental looking) eyes. Then there's the Later style Yamcha eye type which is taller, thinner eye style but it is not like the Goku or Raditz eye type (Bora had this eye type to name another). There are the Yajarobi eye type which is what Krillin had as well when he was first introduced (this is the stereotype oriental eyes). Then there is Goku's eye type which is round and open. He is really the only character who had this eye type (Krillin was given this later on, in the anime, they coloured it in with his skin tone). There is the evil Piccolo/Raditz eye, which was round and the line for the eye connected all the way around beneath the brow.

Females typically had 2 eye types. Bulma's and Chichi's. I don't feel like explaining these, go look at some pictures.

Aren't you missing the Freeza/Android 19/17/18 eye type? It's pretty distinct and also shows up on villainous female characters throughout the series. Also, why are we talking about this?

It was about how Trunks looked nothing like Vegeta; somebody said all characters look basically the same. In addition, how Raditz looked nothing like Goku; I tried to prove that he had features like Goku. off topic, yes.

Next week's Jump's table of contents is out, but it doesn't list what special news articles are in it; still hankering for movie specifics. Hopefully there's still a chance there may be something there and none of the few who've gotten an early copy have posted about it yet.

This is amazing and exciting news for me. I've longed for some new and original Dragon Ball content. And finally, we will get to see something fresh. Can't wait!

Makafushigi-esque opening shot only with Z's logo? Interesting. Makes me wonder what the opening credits will be like and if they'll have a new song.

Also, I am so anxious to find out about the plot. Starting to think there won't be anything in next week's Jump because they're covering another Jump property's movie this coming week and wouldn't want to overshadow or overload it. Maybe the week after that?

I wish I'd followed the latest OP movie closer so I could have a better idea of at what speed Toei releases bits of movie information.

Dragon Ball heroes, huh? It's silly to assume this movie is meant to be a very elaborate commercial for the game, right? That we'll see those new game characters introduced, right

It's just a decent Dragon Ball panel to reveal the teaser for the event. If it was going to be another Heroes cash-in and introduce the game's characters, we probably would have seen this kid's mug all over the announcement with Goku. No need to hide him when he's already everywhere else...

The trench coat was the first thing I've noticed. I wish there were more pictures of it so I can see how it looks from the front. Also, is she wearing a Beret? So cute! Oh man, I want that coat so badly!
