What happened to Goten. Why not have him fuse with Trunks.

He died.

And yeah, I dislike the idea of a Gohan/Trunks fusion because Goten and Trunks are already fusion partners. It seems so needless, and just cuts Goten out completely.

That's part 2 of my issue with this fusion.

Just give it a chance guys. I'm not going to get all nerdy fanboy "You'll like it, I just know it" on you, but if you give it a shot, you might like it.

Besides that, I find Gotenks INCREDIBLY annoying

He was a kid? * years old at that. Of course he would be annoying. Besides I'm bias since no Goten....

Yeah Gotenks is annoying. It's just the buildup sounded like it would be Gohan uncovering new strength when he's just fusing instead. It's like your parents acting like they got you a brand new car and then finding out they just meant asking your brother for a ride.

I stated before that its not like they're going down there and saying "you know what? Screw self-improvement, let's just fuse."

I'm going to work it in where it'll work. There's a lot of build-up for Gohan in this arc and the coming ones. Gohan is going to be moving into his build-up, but not all at once.

Yeah Gotenks is a little too heavy on the gag side to the point where its sorta hard to tell when he's serious sometimes, hell even in Battle of Gods he got laid out with a spanking instead of taking a haymaker to the jaw. He's alright though.

Truhan (Gohanks), might be Gotenks minus the overblown silliness or he might even be Future Trunks-ish in nature.

Though I always figure Oob would be the fusion partner for Gohan, since like others have said Goten and Trunks are the match for each other then of corse Goku and Vegeta.. Sooo why not Gohan and Oob? I think that'd be pretty cool.

Piririn would be the only fusion that would surpass Gotenks in the gag department.
It's not too late. One day, it will be.

Oob, like Goten, is still dead at the time, training with Kaiosama in the afterlife. Like I stated earlier, I'm moving the story towards an event point where the next generation takes over, and the focus is not solely on Goku and Vegeta's powers. I want Gohan, Trunks, Goten, Oob, and even Pan and 18 to develop more into their powers and their future roles. The training in the afterlife is part of it. Gohan and Trunks, being the first-born sons of Goku and Vegeta, seem like the perfect counterparts to take on sort of a 'leadership' role in the next generation of Super Warriors as they step up to fill the voids to be left by Goku and Vegeta. That's not to say that Oob isn't going to have his chance to shine. They all will. This is just the way the story has played out for now. Goten and Oob will come back better than they were before. Gohan tries to come into own. Trunks leans further from his wimpy GT persona into a more 'Mirai'-styled attitude. Pan won't want to be left behind. And 18 wants to proudly wear her new moniker as 'Earth's Champion'.

All I'm asking is give it a chance guys

If we can accept the stuff we don't like from DBM (even if we really hate some parts), we can do it here.

Why did you decide against having a saga with the Freeza/Cell/Buu fusion? ...Would you consider still using it in a future saga?

More questions later. :D
1) No.
2) No.
3) I don't see why they couldn't. Maybe, IDK
4) I accidentally drew them in earlier chapters, but no.
5) I'm actually doing some rewriting on that particular portion. He won't be quite as powerful as a Super Saiyan
6) At this point no. Every doujinshi is doing that. Its too doujinshi-cliche
7) Again, too doujinshi-cliche. I used some aspects of it for other villains, just not the looks. No.

I would advise against a SSJ5 Gogeta in DBNA's case. Considering how you have made it that SSJ5 has a time limit, a SSJ5 Gogeta would only have what, a minute of fusion time? I also remember Old Kai saying if Vegito went Super Saiyan it would shorten his lifespan (I think he says that) so wouldent Gogeta going SSJ5 pretty much kill him?

Old Kai said if they FUSE as SSJ it would shorten Vegetto's life span. However Vegetto can turn SSJ and NOT shorten his life span. Which should be shorten anyways since he's in a way...already half dead.

I still think SSJ5 Gogeta, in regards to DBNA's SSJ5, would be more hazardous than beneficial. Look at it like Saiyan Saga Goku trying to do a Kaio-Ken X20.

Sorry, but... no. I don't see any value in this idea. It's not going to stop me from following this or liking it, but every story has bad decisions and I think this is one of them.

While I do agree with this, It still doesn't come close to the crappy DBM Special decisions. I think it would have been better if Goten and Trunks died and Oob stayed alive. Oobhan/Goob  would make a lot more sense if a fusion had to happen. It also feels kinda of wrong to have Trunks partner up with Gohan.

I personally have nothing against the fusion, as long as they get stronger themselves as well...
Then again...I'm a crazy what-if fan.
