Exclusive trailer means new character, but I’m more curious about whether there’ll be any balance updates. They said they’d be doing more of that this season, as opposed to letting GT run rampant in season 2.

Not gonna lie, wouldn’t mind seeing some UI nerfs. Few characters still need buffs too- Videl, Jiren, 16, Gogeta, Black, and SSku needs his 2M back.

* Dev team would like to implement rollback netcode but it's technically difficulty to support.
* There're plans to to adjust character's Z-assist among other tweaks

FTP game Fantasy Strike, made by an indie company, so indie they're even funded by Patreon, day 1 had rollback netcode. So I'm gonna call BS on difficulty to support.

As long as it gets done, I won't complain though. but these japanese companies needs to stop bsing. It had to take them being embarrassed by online tournament attempts to even accept they need to do better.

I don’t think we’re ever seeing rollback in this game. Something tells me FighterZ isn’t where they break ranks on it. ArcSys aren’t gonna seriously try for that til Guilty Gear.

Great to see FighterZ is still getting supported with popular characters. Roshi was definitely one of the most requested among the community.

I imagine that we are going to get another villain after him. I would guess that it would be Omega Shenron so we can have some more GT representation, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Raditz or Top. It's a shame that it would probably only be one of them, but I'm sure the ones who don't get in would be on the shortlist for a FighterZ2 or even a Season 4. I do think the fifth character will be Mira from DBXV, as a "neutral" character. Would be interesting to see DBXV characters here, considering we got A21 in DBXV.

I do wonder if we would get a Season 4. Possibly not, but it could happen since a FighterZ 2 is probably at least 2 or 3 years away. I don't see us getting FighterZ on PS5 or XSX, but I can see them making the game backward compatible and they could use that to drum up hype for Season 4.

We just got Kakarot earlier this year and DBXV 3 on PS5/XSX/Switch (or even Switch 2) is probably the next major project. Wouldn't expect to see FighterZ 2 until 2022 or even 2023. Maybe even 2024.

I was so hyped... short trailer, have to wait for september. I would love if they had revealed all the upcoming characters, because this season is so slow that have lost interest in this game (rage quit helped a lot with that).

Will return to the game in september to try Roshi then. But I am happy for him. Hope we get the Original Kamehameha!

Is this what they would have had to show at EVO if it hadn't been cancelled (let's not mention the irony of a Roshi trailer being delayed due to a sexual misconduct scandal)? Would have been a pretty big comedown over the last few event trailers.

What looked like 5LLL, Mafuba level 1 (or possibly medium autocombo, but that hand blast side-switch looked more like a light autocombo move) and then outro? That's about on par with the first UI Goku trailer, except that had a full-length Kefla trailer bolted on.

He's coming out in September, there'll probably be a more comprehensive trailer closer to the date. I guess it's hard to complain too much, the state of the world has likely slowed things down on the game a lot.
